This was my $64 filet… I Ended up taking a few bites and throwing it away. Was the mozzarella cheese on top microwaved? It seemed so. Really I wanted to love this place. I don’t mind paying good money for good food. I travel here often for business and I’m always looking for good restaurants. The ambience was nice but if the food doesn’t match, then I can’t…Probably all of the wet veg that goes on the burger to go should be put on the side, because all we got was a soggy wet bread mess; my husband ate the patty which looked mid rare as specified but the rest went in the trash.
We felt lucky to find a table on a Friday night. The food did not disappoint. From calamari to beet salad to fish tacos and spring lamb. Vegans with us were happy with the offerings.
Our server was the best! Friendly, very attentive, brought our 2 puppies delicious snacks and water! Nice outdoor seating.
The food was great, the service was great until the waiter called us “kids” when the food came. Very demeaning and put a damper on the experience. Consider using the word “folks” or “people”…and turning up the heat.
I came here to have brunch with my husband and was incredibly disappointed. The potatoes were overly coated in this seasoning that contained cinnamon, and the bacon was burnt to a crisp. They raved over their cage free eggs, but refused to accommodate our request for egg whites. We spent $18 on their basic breakfast and my husband couldn’t eat any of it. They never asked how our meal was, no that they cared. My eggs Benedict were lovely, but I couldn’t eat the potatoes either. I did like the scones and the coffee that were served as well. It’s very difficult to enjoy eating a meal when the person sitting across from you can’t can’t eat anything…
Such exceptional service! I've only been here 3 times since they've opened. The waiter remembered my name! I've never experienced that before, Kurt is an outstanding individual. The cuisine was delicious as it always is, the calamari is by far the best in town and the dipping sauces are superior accompaniments. The chicken marsala and fish tacos were perfectly textured and balanced well. Whenever my wife and I feel the need to treat ourselves, Moonstone is definitely on the top of our list. Well done folks.
Perfect place for a birthday, brunch or romantic dinner. So much attention to every detail (including cucumber coins on the water). Fun. Inviting atmosphere with lots of glitzy decor. The FOOD is amazing. Again so much attention to detail on the food presentation, but better yet they source local and use the highest quality ingredients. I recommend a mimosa and French toast!Outdoor seating too!
The outdoor patio was heated and comfortable for dining. The food was good, the service was good. There was a significant wait for food, but we didn't mind since we had the time to spend. The food quality is good. I would go back again especially for the outdoor seating. We easily spend 20 to 30 dollars per person for lunch.
I had a 50/50 experience. Absolutely loved the stroganoff even though it was $40 a plate. The burger i ordered was completely raw and had no flavor at all. Even the waitress said it was raw and took it to be cooked longer. Also had chicken noodles soup and it also had no flavor whatsoever. Was hoping they would have givin me a discount or something for the raw burger but got no such thing. The patio was really nice and the staff was professional. Me and the family will give them another chance someday.
We went last night for the first time for my birthday. I ordered the beef stroganoff, which was amazing! And my husband ordered a burger and the soup of the day, which was chicken soup. My husband's burger came pretty undercooked, so the waiter took it back to have it cooked at least medium rare. His soup was bland and so was the burger. We both ate off my plate and agreed that the beef stroganoff was the best we've had. We will definitely be back for that and maybe try a pasta dish.
