We were really impressed with the cleanliness of this place first thing! The statue of the lumberjack and the water mill were nice additions for us tourists’ selfies! The coffee was good and the portions are lumberjack size! An honestly huge amount of food for the price! The food tasted heathy and not overly greasy! Our server was one of the most friendliest we’ve ever met and she is one of the originals from when the restaurant opened 18 years ago! WOW! We will definitely come back with our family! It’s a must stop in Redding!
Be forewarned: this place tends to have large portions. This isn't necessarily a problem, but many a time I have gone here and ordered too much food because I forgot about the portions. ??♀️The food is good. I've gone here many times, and each time, my food is worth the price and tasty. The staff is typically friendly as well.

Big plates at good prices. Good food and a fun atmosphere. It wasn't too crowded and the staff were friendly. I would put it a step above a Denny's or a Black Bear Diner with similar fare. This particular location is in a challenging neighborhood so you'll want to be careful where you park and that you can see your car while you eat.
To say AMAZING is an understatement. From the time I got there until the time I was eating was, maybe, 15 minutes total. The sausage links were huge. Best breakfast I've had in a while...well, that my wife didn't cook anyways. Well priced too.

The waitress was great. Quick, efficient, polite, very professional.The Corn beef and cabbage dinner was the most horrible meal I have ever been served in any restaurant.The corn beef was dry more like jerky.. the serving size was nothing like the menu picture.It was hard & in little tiny chunks as if it'd been scraped off the bottom of the Pan.The cabbage was undercooked and had no taste like it had never had any seasoning put with it & it had never been anywhere near the Corn beef when it was cooking.The potatoes and carrots were cooked but, they had absolutely no taste or flavor also a little too dry.One exception the dinner salad was very good.Wish I had photo. It was NOT appealing as food that cost over $40 should be presented. My advice do not eat here ?Didn't want to give even one star, but had to, to post my review.
