Many people tells me to come here. At first I was like ehhhh then I finally decide to go for my birthday. Our chef entertaining was so amazing! Very friendly and talented. The food had so much flavor! I was a great experience to be there. The price depends. You do need to make reservations if you want to sit where the chef cooks in front of you. Heads up for the first timers you will sit next to others. Don't expect your own private chef unless If you have a big party lol. If you don't want the chef to cook in front of you they do have regular tables.I highly reccomend to come here!
Fantastic atmosphere, wonderful & happy service team. Incredible chef, terrific food. Definitely a "must have" experience, and totally worth every penny and then some. Phenomenal!
Let me start by saying our dinner was great. The server and the chef put on a good show. It was the hostess who ruined the night for us. We had a party of 14 people and paid good money for our dinner but the hostess thought it was necessary to kick us out 5 mins after signing our check. I understand being busy, but we had barely started loading our leftovers in containers before being asked to leave. Extremely rude in my opinion.
We stopped to have lunch to celebrate our anniversary, we were a party of 4. They sat us down with a family of 5, mom, dad, 3 children, great family. The waitress comes in to take our order, she was rude, never said welcome are we celebrating something? She when straight on asking what do you want, I was not done ordering when she just flat out dismissed me and moved over to take the order of the family next to us, for them was like, any birthdays? What do you want. not even once did she came back to our table to check if everything was to our satisfaction, she forgot two items and when we asked she acted like we never order the items, the only person that was most friendly and had a smile for us was the buss girl, she was doing all the heavy lifting, poor girl had to run from table to table. We did not tip the waitress but we did tip the buss girl. The food was good but the service was terrible. The cook was a little bit bet better in customer service. We are never going back, this was our first time and it will be the last time.
good food, great service. A little overpriced, but the experience is worth it. The tepenyaki chef was very talented.
We have dinner here once a month. Occasionally we do the tabenaki but primarily we eat sushi at the bar.Service is fantastic and the two sushi chefs are amazing! Freshest seafood in town and these chefs rock! Everything we have had is beyond compare and absolutely the best when you're in northern California! Do yourself a favor and dine at Kobe tonight!
What an awesome time. Fun. Family friendly. Great food!
When I heard Sushi and Teppanyaki in Redding, I scoffed, all I'd known of Redding is what I've glanced driving by. A ton of homeless, fast food, and Ma Pa shops. This town is really coming up in the world. The sushi is fresh and the hibachi is hot. The atmosphere is gorgeous and the employees are prompt, professional, and courteous. I've tried several menu items now and have yet to be disappointed. Not only is it good, but they are consistently good.
Fun to watch. Absolutely make reservations for Japanese style grill. Two people, at least $100.00. SLOW cocktail service.
Been there before and loved my experiences the first two times food was excellent even though it's expensive and chef was friendly and social however this review is in regards to my last experience. I made a reservation a month in advance for Valentine Day. Date canceled so instead of canceling my reservation I gave it to my mom. When my mom and her husband arrived they completely overlooked my reservation and didn't have a table ready for them. The manager was very rude and put my mom in tears and she never wants to return. I called them and the manager was in fact incredibly rude. My mom's special night was ruined and all they offered was for us to have take out. Like seriously? That's all you'll offer? This is a restaurant where it's expensive because you pay for the experience. My family also had to drive from out of town for this too. Way to go Kobes. You have horrid customer service and you lost some customers as well as ruin a families night.
