One vehicle ahead of us in drive thru. Took 20 minutes to order, then when we pulled around there was that same vehicle (only the one) and it took another 10-15 minutes to get to the window for our order. Fast food drive thru “lines” (without a line especially) shouldn’t take this long: It would make sense if there was an actual line I suppose.

Waited in line20-30 min just to be told their machine couldn’t read my card. Then told me they weren’t allowed to run the numbers on the back of it lol get a chip reader or don’t be that lazy, everywhere I go if the strip doesn’t work they just add the number on the back of my card. I’m literally right infront of you pretty sure it would be ok to do so. So no food for me after a 10 hour swing shift, great job jack in the box !

Thank you to the Jack In The Box owner for reaching out, commenting on my 3 star review, and for asking for additional feedback! I rarely hear back from owners / managers, so I updated my review to 4 stars.I haven't visited Jack in the Box for a year and decided to go the Redding drive-thru late Saturday evening / Sunday morning, just after midnight. I didn't mind the 20+ minute wait because there were about 10 cars in front of me - but when I got home, I found out that I was given the wrong burger order. The burger was alright but I was disappointed that I didn't get the Sourdough Jack like I expected. Other than that, the curly fries were pretty good. ?

People working the drive thru mic were confused and slow. Not efficient at all. The food was excellent, hot and fresh. There is no outdoor seating, but that's okay. Lot of people sitting, sleeping around the grounds or approaching your car, so I wouldn't feel safe outside anyway.

Tried to get breakfast before work, 3 cars in line, waited by the menu speaker 11 minutes before they took my order... 14 more minutes in line. Order wasn't ready when I finally got to window... Had to leave no breakfast. 14 hours later exact repeat, for late meal after work... Ordered 2 Tacos and 5 nuggets took 25 minutes and still not ready... They served three cars before me, maybe $15.00 per car. With service this slow how can they afford to pay 3 or 4 Employees $15.00 per hour. Must be barely breaking even.

Spent an hour in the drive through.. they did not even take the car in front of me order until about 45 minutes in. I couldn't leave had a car behind me. When I got to order all I ordered was a chocolate cake and a large coke for my client. I then had to wait another 20 minutes waiting for the car infront of me to get their order, and then it took them about 5 minutes to get a soda and a chocolate cake. They are usually pretty slow at this location, but this was a very long time to sit in a drive through.

I have been going to Jack In The box for the last 59 years. I have always loved their food my favorite is their hamburgers and tacos. I have never been disappointed the employees have always been friendly courteous greet you with a smile. They're the best ?

Every time I come to this Jack-in-the-Box actually any Jack-in-the-Box in Redding it takes 25 minutes just to get through the drive-through this is the slowest wanna be “fast food place in the world

I am in Redding with my job, my hotel is within walking distance, I have no transportation while visiting, only a company truck that sits at the hotel. So I decided to get a bite to eat from your establishment. I walked through, ordered my food and waited in line like everyone else for 45 minutes. Only to get to the window and was denied food because of me walking through. In situations like this as a consumer, What other options are there? Must I do a door dash order from across the street just to satisfy my hunger? Please help me understand your policy, this tends to frequently happen late evenings.

I avoid this one at all costs. I don't think I've ever had a drive thru take this long at any location, ever. Last time I went here, there was literally 1 truck in front of me, sitting at the speaker. It took a good 15 minutes for them to even get his order. When he pulled forward, they said they would be with me in a minute. 15 minutes later, I just pulled thru past the window, drove to Carl's Jr across the street, made my order and received it and was headed home in 5 minutes.I'm not sure what exactly the problem is with this location, but the wait time is ridiculous every time I go there, so now I simply won't go there. The only thing I noticed each time was the lack of employees I could see on the inside. If lack of employees is the problem, I won't give them a hassle. Being short staffed really sucks. But I'll save myself the hassle and just choose another food joint.
