Large open room style restaurant made it fun dining. Big fan of all the meat dishes where my mom went for more noodles and vegetables with sushi. High quality food we both left very satisfied.
I brought my two nieces here, this evening for dinner. And let me just say, it is terrible. My niece found MOLD in her food and nearly ate it. When I brought it up to the manager her response was, "mold in inevitable, as it is a buffet" I'm sorry but no! You should take extra care to make sure that your customers are taken care of and don't ingest mold. I will never come here again. And I highly suggest that you don't either. Further more if you fail to finish your food they charge you twice. I got charged twice because we didn't finish our food that my niece found MOLD in. Unacceptable!!!!
Been bringing my children, who are now almost grow ups, for years! They called it the fishy place when little. It is still ones of our favorite family places to eat. Staff are nice and the sushi and salad bar are my personal favorites! They try hard to keep everything fresh.
Food was hot and delicious. We stop in every time we are in town. I would definitely recommend if you are wanting a good selection buffet.
To start, I visited in March 2022 and MASKS WERE NOT REQUIRED as stated by the website. This was my third visit in 3 years (live in east bay area); however, the huge selection and variety of food seems endless compared to other buffets in their class. In my opinion as with others who contribute, I sample certain dishes and rate them based on presentation, temperature, quantity/quality, color, seasoning, and flavor. I have had the opportunity to eat during lunch and Grand Buffet has many dishes to choose from that are very good. You will be pleased, just wait and see for yourself.
Prices went up and they are charging 11 year old the same as adult paid almost $40 meal for two. Same dishes for years but less quality food. Good thing there are lots of Chinese fast food/restaurants around town. Won't be back anytime soon. ??
Food was ok. Kind of cold inside though. Went for lunch. I'm sure dinner would've been better
Well, my husband loves this place so we go here frequently. You can dine in for their all-you-can eat buffet which is a set price for the lunch or dinner menu. You can also ask for a to-go container and make your plate to eat at home. The to-go buffet is charged by the pound. The lunch menu is an unusual mix of Chinese, Japanese and American cuisine, and dinner is basically the same with the addition of Alaskan king crab legs.
I love the Grand buffet. There's always something delicious. The salmon nigri is my favorite on the sushi bar.
We arrived late (around 730) and the food that was out was on the old side. The staff was attentive and polite, and I have never had an experience like I did this night with the food quality. Definitely a place to go to earlier in the day.
