Exactly what Chinese food should taste like. The sweet and sour chicken was perfect; crunchy on the outside but juicy and tender on the outside. Well priced and excellent timing with service. The interior is cozy and decorated excellently in its culture.

Woohoo.. I don't have to cook thank you Golden Star.Ordered Dim Sum (6 came in the order ) Pot Stickers (6 came in the order) Beef Broccoli, vegetable chow mein and chicken fried rice. Family of 6 enjoyed the food. ? ...??oops sorry about the construction picture that is on here

The restaurant is in the convenient location and the online ordering is easy. Prices were about average, maybe even better than average for the area, and the staff was very friendly and service prompt.I don't normally dislike Chinese food but, as a whole, I did not like the food from Golden Star Chinese. The fried rice was bland and the chow mein was not great. Orange chicken and sweet and sour pork was a lot of breading and not a lot of meat. It is definitely a different style of Chinese food than most of the other restaurants in the area.Overall, not somewhere I'll be going back to mainly because I don't like the style of the food.

Everything looked good. But the rice was slightly hard and seemed like it had been sitting for hours. The orange chicken looked really good but then was SO hard and dry, it was not even edible. Very disappointed.

i got the general tso combination plate. chow mein was the best item on plate, generals chicken was okay chicken a bit dry and the bbq pork fried rice & egg roll i found bland, both saved however with soy/sweet and sour sauce. good portions. id give em another shot.

Service was decent both on the phone and in person. Ordered the General Tso chicken meal and the chicken was extremely dry. This is one of my least favorite chinese meal. I doubt I will return.

The staff here are good at following directions and we’re polite over the phone. The prices are average for family style Chinese food. The actual food, however, I found wanting. The general chicken was probably the only decent dish out of the group that I ordered. The breading was a bit much, but that’s usually the case with pre-frozen meat at most restaurants. Taste wise, I liked it, but it’s not something I can eat a lot of because it does get overpowering. The green beans in the shrimp with green beans was very uncooked. The shrimp itself was overcooked and the green beans were basically raw. I had to pick out the shrimp and recook the green beans myself. The shrimp was very rubbery and tasted too fishy (fresh shrimp does not taste this way). The green beans were likely frozen before cooking, based on the texture and color. Personally I think having fresh green beans or at least regularly refrigerated ones is not too hard an ask. The Mei Fan tasted ok, a little greasy, and the added texture of the extreme amount of beansprouts they added did nothing to enhance the flavors. In fact, it would have been better if they were not there. The beef in the Mei Fan was chewy like gum. Lastly, the steamed rice was a bit soggy, but it was edible. Overall, I probably won’t eat here again. If I had any advice to the restaurant, it would be to put more explanations into the menu on what each item is/has in it. I found myself very confused because some of the food titles were not indicative of what was actually in the food (with the exception of the main meat or vegetable). For example, if I had known there were bean sprouts in the Mei Fan, I would have asked that it not be put in. If you do eat here, I’d consider choosing more American-styled dishes, since those dishes seem to lean towards the better tasting/prepared side.

This is my favorite restaurant! The Mongolian beef is one of the best foods I’ve ever had and the chow mein is amazing too. Try this place!!!! Their pickup orders are super quick and it’s affordable for the large portions of food. I eat here at least once a week

Super good! Definitely going again

I've been here a couple of time and everytime I've been the food hasn't had a lot of flavor. Be prepared to use the soy sauce lol. Definitely the worst wor won ton soup in town.
