I hardly ever take the time to write a review unless it’s a restaurant in my neighborhood that I really want to support. However the sandwiches that my son and I had this place were so good I feel obligated to say something. I had a pulled pork. There are a lot of barbecue restaurants that serve pork sandwiches where I live but this was hands-down the best pork sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. My son did a bizarre built you own featuring cheddar cheese jalapeño ciabatta bread turkey ham cream cheese Swiss cheese mayonnaise and pulled pork . He agreed that his bizarre sandwich was also the best sandwich he had ever had. This is definitely going to be a place I make a pitstop when I drive down from Oregon. Wonderful friendly staff.

This place is very convenient. Tried the Italiano cold sandwich with dutch crunch bread. It looked great, but was dry when eating, didn't have any oil and vinegar or mayo. I would recommend a hot sandwich if you have time to stop and eat.

Hi everyone well I'm up here in Redding staying at this hotel across the street from this restaurant it's called Dill's Deli walk across the street just to check it out and I got this pulled pork sandwich homemade potato salad and a salad and everything is homemade and everything came to about 18. I got two cookies and a drink came to 20.36 I was $0.36 short and she said don't worry about it we got you I thought that was so nice and sweet are there thank you Dill Deli for a delicious dinner

As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a wonderful aroma. Had 'The Kidd' tri-tip Ortega melt. It was delicious. The meat was tender, the sourdough roll perfectly toasted with just the right amount of chew. The spicy ranch perfectly complimented the meat and Ortega chili.

Food is ok. The potato salad and Mac salad were good. Beans were way too sweet and the trip tip was cut way too thick and undercooked. Ribs were undercooked and chicken was dry. The bbq sauce was good.

The place is cute, and the staff is friendly, but the food was not even decent. We ordered two French dips and waited almost 20 minutes to receive them (not that big of a deal, hot sandwiches take a bit longer) for 10 bucks a sandwich, I was expecting more than a thin layer of roast between very thick, stale bread. On a second note. The meat did not taste fresh. It was gray and tough and tasted like it had hung out in the microwave for longer than it wanted to.

Another great sandwich and amazing experience with the staff. I used to live in Shasta lake and got dills deli all the time and now I make sure to go here every time I’m in town. You simply can’t find a better sandwich

Mom & pop kind of place. The location may not be picturesque but honestly it’s perfect for the business I think. On to the food, sandwiches and potato salad specifically… Good price for the amount of meat/portions and taste for a BBQ/sandwich joint. It hits all the flavors without feeling skimped on anything or being too drippy of a mess. Staff are very friendly, the restaurant is pretty spacious and clean. I liked the food, the restaurant itself, and the staff. 4 stars from me. If they start knowing my first name and offer a military discount, they’ll get that bumped to a 5 lol

We grabbed a Dave Tappan Sandwich and a regular pastrami on Dutch crunch, Corona and chairs. We went lakeside and had lunch at Shasta Lake's Centimudi area near the dam.Great sandwiches that were thoroughly enjoyed!!!

I was recommended this place by a coworker. The staff were friendly.I ordered The Kidd to-go and didn't wait too long. The sandwich was great, I was expecting the sandwich to be really spicy by it's description, but it was the perfect amount of spicy for me. I'll definitely be back to try the Reuben.
