Just went to Del Taco. Passing through Redding CA. First cashier argued about me saying I do not have the white sauce I ordered. Then the gave us both water instead of the Sprite we ordered. Went in to change drinks to Sprite, the place smelled like cat pics. My dad's chicken quesedilla was all cheese. Well, couple pieces of chicken. My fries were dumped upside down, burger smashed and the bag was wet. It was all so disgusting I couldn't even eat.
Used to be one of my favorite fast food places, twice in the last dozen times I have not received what I ordered, have it be beyond meat in a burrito when I asked for ground beef or a grilled chicken burrito when it was supposed to be a combo burrito, sad, especially that first instance, seeing green meat when your not expecting it is a awakening.
They have these little tacos called snack tacos and they are the bomb. I've always liked Del tacos breakfast burritos fresh scrambled eggs slices of bacon and cheese you can have red or green sauce I like green sauce and they're to die for the people are friendly and courteous and their food is good they're over on she's me in Reading on Cypress and hilltop if you're ever in the area stop by and grab yourself a meal there you won't be disappointed
Not the best not the worst. Wide variety on the menu. But it's honestly not the highest quality ingredients. Definitely a bang for your buck though.
Depending on the specific cook the food is usually really really good. I have a habit of asking for extra sauce or whatever would make it a little bit wetter and more appeasing but still very good food just a little bit of a wait though. :)
Just turned around and walked out. No "Hello, we'll be with you in a minute" nothing. 1 person ahead of me and they ordered of pick up. 10 min and I'm gone. Drive thru? Sure. I just did a delivery next door to them and should drive my big rig right up to the window. Bet I get their attention then. All a counter customer could use is a "Hello"
Drive through, 20-min wait behind 6-cars, wrong order at the window, asked me to pull around, get out and come inside. Stood another 10-min while they made my order. I watched the line cook tell his manager that the protein was "too dark" to serve, to which she replied, "there's no time to make it again". Sure enough, burned food was terrible. Won't be back.
The girl working the window was not that bright. She couldn't grasp the concept of 3 ckn tacos and 3 steak tacos as an order. But the food was good.
me and family decided to stop by for a bite to eat, went inside to order but needed to use the restroom first. They were locked due to homeless problem, requiring a key for entrance, ok no problem totally understand, went to ask for the key but was told that a food transaction needed to be completed before I was allowed to use the restroom. I stated that there were three of us that would be ordering but I needed to use the bathroom first then I'd be out to order. I was told that it was company policy that the order needed to be done first.Long story short, a member of my dining party bought a taco to use the bathroom, I used the restroom, came out, got the taco then left, was treated rudely and unprofessionally by the on-site manager, named Melissa, stating that our opinions about their policies didn't matter and that they have problems that we just needed to understand. I replied that no one in our party appeared homeless and that most homeless people don't drive up in a $30,000 car.We left the business, gave the taco to a homeless individual then went to "The Taco Shop" and had lunch there instead. Due to this incident I will not go to another Del Taco anywhere or at anytime, my money is better spent elsewhere.
