Definitely not fresh. Prepared off site, deep fried on site. UGH! Poorly seasoned, tough not flaverful

Visiting in Redding, googled best Chicken Strips. Love Chicken Strips, would have rather gone to Arbys, Dennys, or KFC for sure. These strips were big, thick curled up flavorless chicken pieces. Very little batter and no flavor. Bought the 8 piece, took 3 bites and tossed them in the garbage. My 16 yr old son had KFC the night before and said KFC were much better, he only ate 1 piece and we went to Round Table. For a place that "specializes" in Chicken I would have thought they would be somewhat good but no. I would have gave 2 stars but the fries were horrible. Do you even taste your food? How can you have fries so terrible? I can get fries anywhere better than those. I can see if your covering them in gravy over a waffle maybe some people like it but as a straight up strip they are bad, really bad. Really disappointed for a Chicken Shack.
2 Wednesdays in a row I've ordered and they've served me luke warm / room temperature food a couple minutes after I've ordered. I don't mind paying $40 for food for 2 people then dropping them a tip but the atrocious attitude when I ask for food cooked to order is uncalled for. Love the food when it's fresh, don't appreciate, cold food and a poor attitude, literally 2 minutes after I've ordered. Check your food every time! Demand edible food! I would hope Bethel would have hired a more a more dedicated public friendly group. Great food when it's fresh.
As always, amazing food. Great sauce choices. One of the few places that I've ever seen pork rinds as a side. Great for those who are trying to stick to a Keto WOE.

Ordered chicken tenders with Cajun dry rub. They have me plain chicken tenders with a side of dry rub. Am I supposed to season my own dry chicken?
I loved the Chicken Shack!!! Great food, service and, drinks!!! They had a great selection of items at a great price! Plus they have refillable growlers for craft beers!

Outstanding atmosphere, great greeting, with clean and shiny surfaces, and a fresh rain fragrance envelope the restaurant with a hint of chicken. Friendly staff with help and comforting smiles, and laughter from the kitchen made this visit a memorable experience from the start. To have delightful ordering help, and recommendations from the counter staff, was on point, and had us buying other items to take home. Will be back ALOT!
