The pot roast was okay.Don't get the cornbread it's uninspiring. It's somehow worse than reheated home made cornbread...
First time to check out the Redding/ Norcal area. Ate at the place two nights. Cajun Salmonenyree was perfectly cooked. Second night was a prime rib special - very good.
They lived up to their mottos, friendly, attentive, and good food.
Black Bear Diner in Redding, CA gets an "A". Great service! Great food!
I was disappointed with the service provided. The sausage was undercooked and there was an issue with a menu item that was for breakfast but the wait staff said it was not available till lunch. Miscommunication left us poorly satisfied l. We have to other Back Bear Diners including those in AZ and CO. But this Redding is the worst. The Redding location was one of the first Black Bear Diners to open back in the day. Hope it gets better cause I live close to Redding.
Great place to dine in after a whole day trip. Service was really quick and friendly. Clean washroom was definitely a plus. Would love to visit again
Great place to meet up with friends and enjoy a meal. We like this locale because there is a shopping center next door with ample RV parking spaces while we eat. Friendly atmosphere.
Could not have been more impressed. Service was fast and friendly. Turkey club was exactly as I ordered it. Fries were cooked fresh and were crispy. And I didn't have to request them extra crispy. Salad and blue cheese salad dressing exceeded expectations. And the price was very reasonable.
Ate dinner here and everything was great. Portions of food were large and the prices are very reasonable. Our waitress was so sweet and we enjoyed talking with her. I can't recall her name but she had just lost her cat and we shared cat stories. What a nice lady. We'll definitely eat at Black Bear again. Thanks for a great meal.
Love there food and prices are not bad with great management.
