Once you realize what ⅙# is, it is a good burger.Not much meat if you go small but tasty, a lot of toppings and the fries are hot, good and plentiful.If you like a roadside burger joint, this place is for you.
The burger and fries were good but these are not old fashion burgers as mentioned prior. Better than McD but nowhere near a hand patty, crisp lettuce, and fresh cut fries. Just understand what you’re getting, and there are only 3 small booths for sitting.
Mindblowing. These people know the art of the burger. And as a complete surprise, the fries, out of nowhere, were DELICIOUS. I’m talking top 5 fries of my life.Stop looking at other burger places, if you’re fortunate enough to be within driving distance of this gem, it’s worth the pilgrimage. I’m jealous of the experience you’re about to have.
Lady taking the order wasn’t nice. We made the mistake of ordering a normal burger and it was similar to a cheese burger at McDonald’s. Not worth the money. The shake was good tho.
So I went there hoping for a real old fashioned quality burger, shake, and fries. Even went back a 2nd time and changed up my order a bit in hopes it would be better. I noticed though the burger patties are preformed and not old fashion hand formed patties without much seasoning or flavor. Takes 2 burger patties to even taste the meat come to find out on the 2nd time there. The shakes are just syrup mixed with what looks like soft served ice cream. Not old fashion shakes made with scopes of ice cream. The fries were ok, and very hot. Also if you think it is going to be a giant burger your in for a surprise cause it is just a regular size burger.
Ok my honest first impression after eating here, their "GIANT" Burger is basically a Whopper, even their Fries are oversalted just like Burger King fries which I don't mind, I like salt, salt is flaaaavor, At least the food is still better than in and outs. Almost forgot the tables outside are dirty. We had to switch to another table because the first one was covered in dead bugs. If I'm in the area again and I want some Burger King I'll stop by, it's a good alternative.
Always gotta have a bartels burger when I visit Redding. It’s a must.
I was told by Redding locals it was a must. I agree. Curious service, but grubby burger and fresh crispy fries. The chocolate malt will take you back. Delicious.
