I give this 3 stars because the food is inconsistent. I've had a terrific dinner one visit then the next visit the same dish is "So-so" and I eat because I'm hungry. Lately the restaurant has hired very young servers who have no experience and don't know the menu. While everyone has to start somewhere it's to Applebee's benefit to shadow those server's until their ready to fly solo.
Had a great lunch with my grandmother at this location. The food was amazing and presented very nicely. I will be visiting this location again next time I'm in the area. Service was fast and on point.
Terrible food and a terrible smell time you walk through the doors!!! Management never greeted us and actually walked past our table looking upset! The food was well overcooked, super greasy, the lemon wedges in our water were brown in the center and our overall experience was not one we'd look forward to again!!!Our waiter was decent, however, everyone else working there seemed to be having a bad day.
I'd originally given 4 stars but downgraded it to 3. The service was better than before and our waitress was very friendly as was the busser. But the quality of the food has gone down sense tour last visit. Spinach artichoke dip quality/flavor was subpar and lacking. The fetachini could have used more sauce and flavor. The burger my companion had was also lacking he committed we should have just gone to in-out instead ?. Our beer wasn't much better, and the orange garnish that we squeeze into it must have been bad because it totally ruined it. Haven't decided if we'll give it another chance or not. Not what I'd expect for a $60.00 meal plus the $5.00 tip.
Normally I really try to give places the benefit of the doubt. But it seems like a lot of restaurants these days are starting to get servers that are just burnt out or not in the mood anymore. Our server essentially ran past the table every single time she came by to check on us so we had to like hail her down to get her to stop running. She brought us our check right after we got our food which is not always the smartest idea when you want people to keep ordering drinks. And then several servers complained about people not tipping them on the floor around a bunch of other people who are eating to the point to where Us in the corner could hear them. I know servers have a super hard job and I respect anyone who works in customer service and food serving but maybe not complain on the floor. Regardless of not being tipped. Also when I ordered a drink at the end of the meal she pretty much ignored the whole thing of what I asked her for and brought me a shot of alcohol to which I just drank and gave up cuz I was like what's the point if she's going to run away every 2 seconds.
Stopped in to watch football. Enjoyed excellent appetizers and a couple of beers. We sat at the bar. All the staff were very attentive during our entire visit.
Great service! Our waitress was so polite and friendly. Food was very good. Nice family restaurant.
Brought my grandson in for lunch. What a great experience. They did not treat him like a child. I appreciate that he is eight years old and can make his own decisions on some things and it was great. He got kids pizza and I got the bourbon steak. Everything was perfect. This particular restaurant is not in my area I come here when I visit my sister so it's nice to see that quality goes with the brand not the location. I will definitely be back. I also love that they are on Groupon.
Fries were cold stale. Friendly staff
Hilltop location is always the best. Besides the construction,the place is great
