I only get 2 things from here, the famous pastrami and chili cheese fries. You get so much pastrami that you can add to your fries. You don't have to order pastrami fries. I've been coming here for the past 7 years and well, its not an every day type of place to visit. Its more of a couple times a year place. Or when we have family in town looking for something new! Every time I come, I always tell myself to step out of the box and get something else but it never happens. Pastrami's always juicy and delish, remember to pair it with the yellow chilies, you get these when you pick up your order.
Don't let the prices scare you, the portions are huge. When the kids were little, the whole family could would be stuffed after one pastrami sandwich and chili cheese fried.Now that I have teenagers, we have to get two sandwiches.I really ought to explore their menu more. There's so much that looks good. But we always get the pastrami and chili cheese fries.If your getting take out, ask for the chili on the side, so the fries aren't soggy by the time you get home.
The food is good, but very heavy. I shared food and I was not able to gorge myself upon my feast. Half of the half a sammich was enough. Got the chili cheese fries and pastrami sammich. Make sure you get onions and pickles to cut the richness of the chili.
DYK-Did you know if you order ahead online from The Hat website that the store requires in store payment and all the information you just input from your credit card will be voided after you submit it? And there is a fee ($6.66)! And I had to create an account and I might have subscribed accidentally to a monthly $9.99 subscription for something?? 1st time ordering from here and wish I would have just waited in line. Hisband went in and said everyone was rude and speaking Spanish..until he started speaking in Spanish.... What a hassle. Pastrami Dip, Onion Rings, and a cold Dr. Pepper was absolutely delish and enough for 2!

Absolutely love this place chili cheese fries with pastrami is amazing extra chili. Staff is amazing and always so kind. Service is quick even when they are extremely busy they still get your order to you quickly. I always stop here when I visit California and I make sure to stop even if it's miles out of my way. Love this place been going here for years.
What an amazing place. The pastrami sandwich was perfect, the mustard and pickles compliment the meat in a very good way. The fries are lovely too.Loved the whole thing!
Per reputation, great pastrami sandwich. Split it with a friend and it was plenty of food for two. Went through the drive through line which was fairly quick. Hot peppers are an included condiment and made the sandwich that much better.
