Service was great although food average. Entrees ordered were either too salty or bland. Walnut shrimp is favorable and recommended. Minced beef soup tasty. Poached chicken had no flavor although the ginger sauce was good. Pea pods were too salty and returned it for Chinese broccoli with no flavor. Alot of Cantonese entrees although unsure which one is good. Price of entree ranged from $14.95-17.45. Lunch specials reasonably priced but have not tried to render an opinion.
Quick service, but there was only two other people when we arrived lol food was good, my favorite was the honey walnut shrimp lady that everyone keeps referring to, seems to just keep to herself, which is fine. She was nice to us and provided everything we needed and asked for quickly. Prices are fair, good portion sizes, would recommend.

First time trying Tai Pan House. Was pleased with the food and service. Would likely go back again.
If you're looking for attentive service, great ambiance, or artful food presentation, this is not the place. If you're nostalgic about old school Chinese cooking, everything was pretty good and portions were huge. Just like a comforting home cook meal, without worrying about washing dishes afterward.
Recently visited. This place gives ZERO service. The female owner sat us down (the second group of customers in the entire place) then forgot about us. She went back to her seat and played games on her cellphone behind the front counter (we could hear the game, sounded like slot machine). The counter was so high, from where we sat, we couldn't see the lady = the lady wouldn't be able to see us without coming to us. We waited for 10-15 minutes, finally I had my husband to go get her attention. I honestly started to think she forgot about us.I can understand not getting service/attention if the place was busy, but there were a total of two tables of customers at the time!We ordered. See for yourself, nothing special, seriously. It was pricey compared. I wouldn't mind paying the high price if the service was good and food was good. However, what we've received, it was horrible.My family will not be returning. I will not recommend this place to anyone. I can get much better Chinese food for cheaper with MUCH better service.
Great food, will support this local business. I'd like everyone to be able to taste their food. Seasoning and cooking is spot on, not the 5star inside but if the food is the focus it's some of the best Chinese food in town.
After coming for yrs, somewhat surprised to notice a slight attitude like we're not the preferred people she wanted to walk in.. sadly..but our food was absolutely amazing as usual!
