Had heard about the sizzling dish and was excited to try it. Ordered the beef plate. Made the mistake of selecting to go. It came out mixed already. Beef had some flavor but rice was dry and everything lacked seasoning. We barely ate it. No sauce at all. Just fry rice and cooked beef minced together. Will not try again. Fried gyoza was fine. And the pancakes were fine. Nothing memorable.

I ordered the up-sized version of their hot beef plate. I thought they might have accidentally given me the normal "small" version but after looking at the other reviews it seems they just give tiny portions of their protein. My rice was greasy and a bit burned. Also very few extras included. The flavor wasn't the worst but it wasn't seasoned enough for me. I know I could have gone back to let them know but I don't have the time or energy to deal with that. Just get it right the first time please.Staff was nice. Ordering was easy enough at their kiosk.A little over-priced and probably not coming back until I've tried all the other places here. There are many more options to choose from at Haven City so it's not all bad.

Food is really good! Didn’t have to wait too long.

This is probably my favorite place to eat. I go to Haven fairly often and always end up picking this place over the other options. Both their chicken and beef hot plates are delicious and have the best seasoned butter. The owner is very friendly and helpful. It’s always a treat to go there.

This place is really gross. Do not believe those high ratings if you want decent food. The food is greasy, the service takes forever, they seem to use a lot of tasteless instant food(very noticable with the noodles), and the prices are way too much for what you get. Go anywhere else for more satisfying food. The texture of the chicken kaarage made me want to gag. The mashed potatoes tasted like microwave meal without seasoning and they somehow messed up rice.

What I Ordered: Salmon Hot Plate, Cold Brew Green Tea, Lychee Cold Brew Tea, Chicken Kaarage with Noodle Soup, Homemade Spring Onion Pancake, Pork and Chive GyozaLocated in Haven City Market, this family owned restaurant serves a huge array of hot plates, izakaya dishes, and noodles. They also are the only restaurant in Haven City Market that serves cold brew tea and has a self order kiosk! Their food is homemade and super fresh! They even make their own butter for their hot plates. They make the batter for their chicken kaarage from scratch and triple fry their chicken to make sure it is as crispy as it can be. If you’re a big fan of crispy rice, you’ll love the hot plates because the rice gets nice and crispy on the bottom. They also have so much flavor and they really are just the perfect bite of food. This is probably my favorite hot plate restaurant so far! ? I love that they have green onion pancakes as well because they are one of my childhood favorite snacks! I’ve never had pork and chive Gyoza before but I really loved the fragrant taste of these! And of course, chicken kaargae is a must order whenever I see it. You can get it with by itself, with rice, or with noodles. This is only a small portion of their vast menu so I cannot wait to come back and try even more! The owner, Casey, is also the absolute sweetest and really does the most for his customers so I definitely recommend checking out this spot!IG: @kristys.kravings

I wish I had tried this place sooner. They're located inside Haven City Market. The owner was there and is a really nice guy. He explained the menu to us. Ordered the Hot Plate Beef and Shrimp & Salmon Deluxe. As an appetizer I got the Handmade Spring Onion Pancake with egg. It came out so hot and crispy... so good. They have cold brew tea here and I had to try that. We got the Lychee Black Tea and Passion Fruit Green Tea. Both were really flavorful and loved the tea.Onto the main course, you can pick different kinds of cheese to add on top of your rice. My husband got the Mexican cheese. My salmon was cooked to perfection with a nice crust outside just the way I like it.The food itself didn't take long to come out; about 10 minutes. Note you can also get your food to go and don't need to dine in. There are other items from their Izakaya menu that look so good. I'll have to come back to try those out.

This is my favorite place to eat at Haven City Market. I’m here often as a local. Get the deluxe plate with salmon and shrimp. I’ve had it many times over the last year and it never disappoints.
