Horrible place. Workers are never present, the food is extremely overpriced, and the portions are incredibly small. Do not come to this place, just a waste of hard earned money. Food isn't even that good too.
Good but overpriced and portions are small
For this being my first time in Haven City, this place was really yummy. Highly recommended if you are looking for something different and full with flavor. Be kind and tip if possible.
I think their ramen are seasonal menu items. I asked but the woman wasn't very sure. The Spicy Miso Ramen was good and I was able to replace that pork with chicken, no charge. I liked it. It was a bit messy cus the ingredients come separate. Not that that's not great; I think it is very convenient for people taking it home to transfer it into a bowl; but for dining in, not so much.
Cooks should be covering their nose with their mask. Worried about my food. The tall girl needs to follow government regulations to avoid spread of Covid!
Really really good okonomiyaki. You could sell this at a street stand in Osaka and people would buy it, it tastes authentic. It also incorporates new ideas though, so it stands out.
To be honest, I wouldn't recommend this place. I waited around 45 minutes for 1 plate of the KBBQ Okonomiyaki, which was a little overpriced but not my main concern. What I am concerned with is the staff attitude towards customers and customer priority. It's only right that someone that ordered first should get their order first, especially if they ordered less than the person after them. The cashier originally told me it would take 15-20 minutes, which I was okay with. I waited 25 minutes before going to ask what happened to my order after watching the woman who ordered after me get her 2 plates first. She told me to wait 10 more minutes and at least gave me a free soda of my choice. I ended up waiting about 10 more minutes and watched several other customers get their orders before me and see some of the staff messing around in the back. I asked a second time about my order and she told me 5 more minutes. I waited and finally got my single order. I was with my sister now since I was previously waiting around my dad who went to order elsewhere. She gave us 2 forks and a knife, in which I asked her for a 3rd fork for my dad. She looked at us weirdly and said she already gave us 2 forks. I had to ask again to get the 3rd fork. I got the fork, but it was really awkward. My sister and I tried it and the KBBQ Okonomiyaki was ridiculously salty and a little undercooked in the center. The wait was not worth it and I'm not going there again.
Haven City market definitely has its merits. OkoYummy is the best of the "street food" you just can't get in the states. You get to pick your own ingredients for a savory griddle cake made for you on the spot. I can see this becoming a comfort food; especially because they have great ramen. Oh yeah, street toast sandwiches, too.
nice to have an okonomiyaki spot here. the staff is nice and the food is good. 10-15 min wait so bring something to occupy yourself if this is all you want.
