Only had two things here: Crispy Rice w/ spicy tuna and the Shoyu Ramen. The service was decent and we got our food quick. Crispy rice was good, but paying 8$ for two small bites was a little underwhelming and felt overpriced. The ramen broth was a little too salty for our palate and the cuts of chicken in the ramen was so dry I couldn’t finish it. I’ve had crackers that have left my mouth feeling less dry. On a positive note my wife added tofu to her bowl and they gave her plenty. I can’t speak for the other types of ramen there, maybe they’re amazing. Had our hopes up to have ramen on a rare cloudy day in SoCal.
One of the best ramen in Rancho, the broth and the noodle is really good, and the portion also big
Used to be my favorite Ramen bar for the combination of food and vibe.Maybe it was a fluke day- but this last experience was just a little disappointing.Music was either too upbeat or ratchet as opposed to chill.Lights were blinding bright as opposed to dim.Beer was served in a plastic cup as opposed to a chilled glass.Appetizer was served after the main entree.Service was fast but didn't know how to read the customer at all. Give me time to order when I'm still scanning the menu.Overall food was still on point, but the experience and mood has has definitely pivoted since its opening.
I gave 3 stars for the taste and portions. This restaurant seemed 2 be a little pricey for the amount that is given. I ordered 2 pork buns (which is technically 1 order) and 2 vegetarian Ramen. There's also outdoor seating and alcohol. The atmosphere was chill/casual with the latest music playing in the background!
The food was delicious. The Ramen had really good flavor and the noodles were just right. Service was on point. I definitely recommend this place.
Overpriced and flavorless. The service was pretty good. The food wasn't the gyozas cold and flavorless; the California roll was really basic, and the ramen was a complete disappointment. They charge for everything also. I mean $2 for the chili sauce we ordered 4 because the ramen was pretty flavorless, and when we got the bill, we realized that they were $2 each. Crazy ramen spots usually have a whole container sitting table side of chilli sauce.. never again.
Very neat and chill place to hang out with friends. It caters to anime fans, but is welcoming to everyone and the ramen is great, especially the pork!
I hate to do this because I love the food, BUT the service SUCKS..!! I ordered online, food was there waiting when I arrived, but drink order was incorrect. So returned to get correction made and was passed over for help, only asking the 3 persons that arrived after me if they need help, she talked to them then walked away.., I had to walk up to chef window and still waited another (6) minutes and ignored when I said excuse me.., was finally ask how can we help you, I stated that in comments I ask for Dr. Pepper no ice, lady with the collection of pins on her smock said leave it there and I'll get you a new one.. no apology for the wait or Thank you for patiently waiting, but as I walk to door I hear her saying it to other Caucasian customers... Hmm, IJS
Mixed feelings about this place. The Shoyu Ramen very tasty. The pork was so tender and delicious. When I arrived I stayed at the door to be seated but you just seat yourself the host/ server told me. No menu or asked if first visit just took my order luckily had menu on my phone and knew what I wanted. A couple came in after me and she did the same thing but when 2 women arrived she seated them and asked if first visit. Very little engagement for me and the couple. Food great inside dining not so much. My suggestion don't order extra noodles as they come separate and when have room in your bowl the noodles cold and doesn't mix as well when first prepared.
Anybody who has had Los Angeles level ramen can't be satisfied by this overpriced and mediocre food. I can prepare something better in my own kitchen. Take the money that you would spend here and buy some quality ingredients instead. Take the time to learn how to prepare your own ramen and you will run circles around this place.
