Take-out only as of June 3, 2022.- Omakase (8-piece sushi)Freshness and taste were average, it did have a bit of less common fish. Salmon was below par, taste and color were just like the inexpensive farm raised ones found in supermarkets. Sushi rice was bland, similar to some AYCE places that totally lack the taste of sushi rice vinegar. Personally, I would prefer to have premium chirashi in Walnut or Diamond Bar at a similar price for better satisfaction.- California Hand RollDecent.- Salmon Hand RollSame as the salmon in Omakase, the taste was bland.- Tuna RollAverage. I was expecting Tekkamaki (classic tuna roll), but was given a non-spicy version of spicy tuna roll.- Leo's Special (sushi roll)Decent, the rice could have been better.- YakisobaDecent, but it was more like Chinese stir-fry noodles. It is not the kind you would find in Japanese festivals or street stalls with dark Yakisoba sauce similar to Takoyaki or Okonomiyaki.
I have been coming to this place since 2001. Never disappointed, food is awesome. Prices are fair and staff very courteous. My favorite place
I have been coming here for the past 5 years and the sushi has definitely been one of the best around LA and IE.
The staff is so accommodating and nice. I came from Texas and this is the best sushi I’ve ever had. I can tell the fish is so fresh. I love this place! I 100% recommend this place.
Friendly staff and great food as always. Really look forward to them re-opening for dine-in again. The fish quality still stays top notch despite the pandemic limitation.
Ken’s is always fresh and flavorful and just the best. But it is the people that make Ken’s our favorite! They are beyond friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to make sure we get exactly what we want! No, it’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for and it is always well worth the money.
It doesn’t get any better
We just ordered take out from Kens for the first time and were not disappointed. COVID changes made ordering a little odd but they were as accommodating as possible. Pickup was easy and smooth, the staff were very friendly and prompt. We ordered the Gyozas, Big Eye Tuna and Salmon Sashimi, Rocky Roll, Leo Special Roll, and the Albacore Special Roll. The fish was fresh and delicious. The portions are very generous too. We will definitely return!

Absolutely the finest freshest authentic sushi in the IE. If you’re lucky enough to sit at 1 of 2 sushi bars your in for a real dining experience. The table seating is fantastic as well but the sushi chefs are so accommodating and can treat your palette to sushi bliss. I have been going for 30 years and sushi connoisseurs from all over Southern California come here. You will never want to eat sushi anywhere else it’s the best.
