There is not a single bad item on the menu, everything is fresh and expertly made. This is an incredible, family run business where you will be treated like a part of that family. Brian, Jen, and Johnny himself make such an effort to get to know each customer, make every plate exactly to that person's preference, and they will remember you next time you come in too. Whenever we have friends or family from out of state, this is the first place we take them (and most of them ask to come back before they leave!) In a world full of mediocre chain restaurants, JohnnyO's is a an absolute gem. If you are craving food that could take you straight back to your grandmother's dining room table then you can't go wrong here. This place is unmatched in quality, customer service, and deliciousness.
When exceptional food meets very personable service, you have the recipe for the best breakfast experience. Try the California breakfast sandwich for the freshest option ever. The potatoes are soft and grilled and so delicious. But the best part of all was Brian who manages and serves, making the entire visit a pleasure.
In a perfect world every neighborhood would have a place like this. Was told upon arriving there was a 4 table wait. Anywhere from 30 to 40 minutes. Took about 20 and was promptly seated. Menu was simple. Ordered the food which took about 20 minutes to come. Every 5 minutes or less like clockwork someone was filling up coffee mugs at every table. The service and food was like if in n out decided to run a breakfast diner. I was most amazed at how well run and efficient the staff was. Waiting in the sun for 20 minutes was a small price to pay for this experience.

This was my first time visiting Johnny O's. It seems that Johnny O's Cafe is a hidden gem here in Rancho Cucamonga. You need to put it on your list to come and try.I came here because it's very close to my house. I'm very glad because this will become my go to breakfast/lunch restaurant.I had the Western Cheeseburger. Let me tell you, that burger was almost gooder than grits.The burgers come with 2 patties, onion ring, BBQ sauce, and the trimmings. The patties were cooked to perfection. Hot n juicy. The fries were crispy and hot.This was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten.I'm fact, I couldn't finish all that food. And believe me, it wasn't from a lack of trying...The staff greets you when you enter. The greeting was warm and friendly, true, not fake cheerleading type of greeting.The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.Johnny O's is a breakfast/lunch restaurant. I'm definitely going to come back and try their corned beef hash breakfast.Johnny O's is now my go-to place for breakfast and lunch.
Well the reviews were right. This place gives huge portions! I had enough for breakfast at the restaurant and then a late lunch later that day. The food was very good. ? I had a veggie omelet, and since I didn't want toast or a biscuit, the waitress asked if I wanted something else. "Could I have slices of fresh tomato?" Right away she said yes.The tomatoes were delicious! And she didn't mind at all. It's not a fancy building, but the food is delicious and the service is great!
I love Johnny O's. I haven't tasted anything I don't like all their food is amazing. They have big portions at value prices. The service from the employees is very welcoming.
Authentic local breakfast place. We tried steak and french toast. Steak was a little thin but good taste. French toast had a lot of egg around the bread. I'd prefer less egg. Overall a good experience
