I haven't been to the Islamorada Fish Company in years, but I'm glad we made the trek. Despite the small menu thanks to covid the food was outstanding we ordered the blackened mahi and shrimp with a lobster sauce, the blackened shrimp pasta in a lobster sauce, parmesan cheese toast, key lime pie and a fudge banana cake( not sure the name). This was more food than we normally order but we finished everything but half of the key lime pie. The bill was about $71.00 before tip but the quality of the meal was great as were the flavors( 1st time having the lobster sauce and it was awesome) we can't wait to go back!!
We had a great time! Everything from the food to the waitress and ambience of the whole place. It was so cool! Definitely would return.
We drove two hours to eat at this restaurant. We had such good memories of this in the past. Excellent food and we knew it would be pricy but worth it but yesterday March 26, 2022 we thought wth!!! We ordered a Caesar salad. It sounded fancy on paper. Parm crisps. They were stale and hard and we took them off the salad. The salad was in huge pieces and we had to cut it up and there was hardly any dressing. What there was of the dressing tasted bottled. The food came out. Normally I would take a picture and put on Facebook. The presentation was that of a zero star diner. I ordered what sounded elegant. ISLAMORADA PORTOFINO Blackened mahi mahi, grilled shrimp, lobster cream sauce, fresh vegetable, Morada Rice. Whatever the heck that sauce was was so salty we couldn't eat it. Three shrimp rubbery and I don't think blackened mahi mahi was in there. Just some thawed tasteless fish. I had a few bites and one bite of the broccoli that covered half the plate and tasted like it had been boiled and was flavorless. We arrived there starving hungry on purpose to enjoy this meal. Remembering the wonderful meals we have had there in the past. My plate looked barely touched as did my husband's. When the server came around she asked if we wanted to go boxes. When we said no she must have heard this many times. She was not at fault for the food so I left her a 25% tip and she did a good job. Another thing we didn't appreciate was the restaurant was nearly empty and we were walked quite a ways and seated next to other tables of diners in booths back to back where we had to listen to every word they said. I WISH I had read the yelp and tripadvisor reviews before dropping $100. As we left Rancho Cucamonga we saw a shopping center with so many great restaurants. Ugh. Live and learn. We will never go back.
On February 20 we dined at the Fish company restaurant in Temecula for our grandsons birthday. Our waitress Audrey was one of the best ,if not the best servers we have ever had. Not only sincerely pleasant , but quickly attentive during our entire dining experience. I’m only hoping I got her name right. She was an attractive slender lady with blondish hair. Our request is that she is recognize from her managers for her outstanding service. A big thank you Audrey!Tom & SherryRiverside
Have gone here for years, but this was our first visit since Covid hit. Menu is different, some of our favorites are now gone, but there are still good dishes served. Was seated right away on a Friday night at 7pm...only several tables filled. Greeted promptly. Placed a drink and appetizer order right away, appetizers came before drinks ever did. Service was very friendly but very slow. After an hour we were told one of the entrees was cold so our server sent it back. Then when we asked to deliver the other two, we were told a 2nd entree had to be sent back as well. Gave us a bowl of soup for the inconvenience. Food was very good when we did get it, but we were there for over an hour and a half when we should have gotten served and left in under an hour given the lack of customers during our experience.
Inside is nicely decorated like a fishing cabin with a big fish tank and beautiful fish. Food was very good. Service was fast and friendly!!
This place has potential, its lacking a more vivid atmosphere maybe some music will help heh, I have to say the aquarium is gorgeous ?. The food was okay but again lacks a kick on flavor. Had the calamari small portion 14 bucks flavor ok, portofino Mahi Mahi, the house sauce is good in top of shrimp ? descent portion and came with tasteless broccoli ? and substituted the rice for house salad ?, I have to say the salad was different, has a very tropical coconut vineggrette dressing, service not that great had to ask for silverware when my food was sitting cold at my table, fish n chips I had better, Fisherman's outlet DTLA.
Not too many gluten free, dairy free choices. Menu is small. Prices are good, good quality and very tasty!! Great customer service ❤️ I ordered the mahi mahi tacos ( flour tortilla) so I opted for lettuce wrap! Awesome taste but the fish was a bit over cooked! ( that’s why the 4 stars ) will comeback for sure :-)
Used to love going here. Love the ambiance, however the Cobb salad barely had any toppings, pasta was bland, chicken sandwich was dry and almost no sauce. Cheese curds were really good still. Menu so small now. Not worth the prices and they stopped serving the bread. Best part was our waitress. Won't be going back.
From the service to the Bloody Marie's and food it's not like it used to. Beautiful decor and ambiance. Kids chicken tenders were awesome but the fish tacos and shrimp pasta wasn't terrible but very bland. Seems all the good things are missing from menu as well as staff that can breathe and work simultaneously.
