I must say it is rare for me to Leave 5 star reviews and I am not easily impressed. Your Sandwiches truly beat all the rest! Much better then Subway, Jersey mikes, and what used to be my favorite Fire House Subs. Gandolfo's New York Delicatessen is now my Favorite Sandwich place to eat. I had a promo to get 50% of my next 3 orders on door dash and decided to try Gandolfo's. The quality of the food is excellent. The bread and all the meat is extremely tender. I ordered the French onion drip sandwich and I admire the generosity in the amount of the broth dip they give you. I have had something like this before from other restaurants and they are not nearly as generous with the broth dip as Gandolfo's. Gandolfo's truly cares about the customers and the quality of their products. I will definitely be ordering directly from your website soon. Thank you for the Coupon that came with my last order I will search for more <3. If I was going to buy a sandwich Franchise Gandolfo's would be the best investment In my opinion!
Makes me sad to have to post this review. My once-beloved New York-style deli has been sold, and after eating there today, can say it's gone downhill since the new owners took over. For one thing, no more birthday club or members club perks (buy 10 get 1 free). Their once-fat, wonderful Pastrami sammies are no more, perhaps the biggest bummer.
I ordered the Hot Italy to be delivered from DoorDash tonight, this was my first time trying their Subs. I took a few things off & added somethings as well. I added extra pepperoni & a premium price, extra provolone, coleslaw, green chilis & a few other things. My point is, I did not get the extra pepperoni, the coleslaw, the green chilis, the extra cheese, but I did get green peppers that my spouse is allergic too, so it made eating with each other difficult. The sandwich was a great Sub, but for just over $20 dollars, I expected to receive it correctly. I also didn't get a receipt & I always need one. They don't allow special instructions when online ordering, I called & called to speak to someone to see if I could get a receipt & never got an answer. Like I said, the food was good, but I probably won't order again due to the cost of getting the wrong sandwich.
There are a lot of places to get sandwiches that are good, but this place is amazing. In past couple of weeks I got the Ruben with Pastrami and corn beef. Incredible and if you get a whole sandwich you might have a hard time finishing it. They grilled the Rye bread, and has cheese, sauerkraut and choice of spicy mustard and or Russian dressing... get both.
I was scared to trade, because I have been scammed many times, but I had to take one last chance because I heard Mrs Taisha Carson was a very honest lady, so I gave it one last trial wow to my greatest surprise what I have heard about her was correct, today through Mrs Taisha Carson I have been able to get back all I had lost and earned even more, contact her for the best investment services and you will not be disappointed, I invested $1,000 and got $11,600 in 5days You can contact her directly. Great food. The best deli meats the pastrami is the bomb ?. I usually get the lox and bagels. Plus they have Thrifty ice cream. Yum.
I had the New York Giant sandwich, which I ordered the foot long. It was definitely the biggest Pastrami sandwich I have ever had in my life and great tasting!
The food is adequate for the price, though the potato salad was a little crunchier than normal. Their service experience was odd. It took roughly 25 minutes to get our one sandwich, when the people before us got theirs ~15 mins before us.Additionally none of the employees were wearing masks, and the employees at the front weren't wearing gloves when handling food, even when serving the different deli salads. At one point I even watched the server pick up a piece of dropped potato salad with his fingers and throw it a way, and then wiped his hands on his pants and carried on serving, which was disconcerting.
Recently moved into a new office across the street from this deli and finally decided to splurge on take out. I usually bring in my lunch to work so I'm not used to spending on take out, let's just say I was very surprised with the cost and please don't take it the wrong way I understand they have to pay employees and rent but half a egg salad sandwich for $9 was too expensive for me. Don't let this discourage you from trying it out, the food is good it was just too pricey for me and my lunch budget.
I've been here 3 times, trying new sandwiches everytime. My personal favorite is the roast beef dip. The staff are so friendly...they were really busy one day and my party were waiting a little longer than usual- which we didn't mind at all- they brought us complimentary potato salad and banana cream dessert which was so delicious by the way!
