Calle Ocho is a gem and I’m so happy to live close by! Everyone is friendly and very accommodating, even when we’re there during a rush. The coffee is brewed perfectly I’d recommend trying any of the food items on the menu to go along with it! We get a few various things every time, and it always hits the spot.

This is where you can find real nice tasty Cuban sandwiches. Love their cafe con leche for a taste of smoothie-like condensed milk.

I came to calle 8 craving empanadas and yucca rellena and the taste was above my expectations! Specially the Guava and Cheese empanada. No wonder it was recommended by a cuban friend. Ordering 15-20 minutes ahead is preferred and everything is made fresh for you. Delicious! Muy rico! Mimi thank you for your kind service!

Seriously this place and it's entire staff is a God send! Everyone is delicious and made fresh to order. The most authentic Cuban flavor you're gonna find anywhere near by. The cafecito is amazing! The lechon fries are not to be missed! Make sure to try the empanadas and guava cupcakes whenever they are available. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more stuff ?

MUST TRY IT!!! My boyfriend and I had recently discovered this place on yelp. Since my boyfriend is Dominican I have always tried to look up Cuban/ Dominican food when he’s craving food from his homeland. We absolutely loved it !!! The garlic and cheese empanadas are our favorite. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. This is our new favorite go to spot. If you are in the area you should definitely give this spot a try!

No place to sit down. Not to bad but less fair. Cuban coffee is made in a greca, not a Espreso machine. Good cup of coffee. I got a cuban sandwich, but it wasn't put in the sandwich press, which is the whole point of the sandwich. Had to wait 20 minutes for it. Not many ppl in the store but the could be filling phone take out orders.Let me down some what.Maybe this is how Californian Cuban food is. It is a lot different than the Cuban food on the east coastStaff was friendly so I would go back and give them another try. Could have been having a bad day. This is just a repeat post of what I posted on yelp. The only got back to me on Yelp and I will go back and try it again. I was strongly suggest giving them a try.

I've heard nothing but good things about this place. I'm happy to report it is all true. The food is spectacular, and the coffees are a must. The restaurant itself is very charming the stuff is super friendly. There is a little bit of a wait but it is definitely worth it. Everything is made to order. Looking forward to coming back enough dating this review with more details of the food and coffee.

Cute small place with character and a friendly touch. Start with a cafe con leche and enjoy a freshly made Cuban sandwich on the patio with view of the mountains! Recommended.
