Nice sushi restaurant, along a row of other restaurants that were pretty good too. Menu is extensive, wait staff was attentive, food was great tasting and reasonably-priced.
I will still always love this place but had my first really bad experience while eating my sushi I started chewing and heard a crunch I had a shard of glass in my sushi. Head chef was not happy with me complaining since there was nothing “like this” in the building. I tried to explain the severity of the situation but while the manager was amazing the head chef not so much manager was only allowed to comp a roll no refund it’s was basically I’m sorry that you could have died and that you cut your mouth but here’s another one and then bye. Kind of a sad day for me
Tasty, flavorful sushi with a great variety along with Bento boxes. Miso soup was hot and readily served. Our waiter was prompt and quick and took care of all the needs of our party of five.
Omg was so good even having it after picked up Togo! I got the chef's choice plate A and Ade and the jalapeno bombs in the picture...... Amazing ? ? ? This the service was great and the lady at the front desk was funny
Amazing food. Service was pretty fast. Employees seem to always be in a rush, but considering how fast they get everything done it's perfectly fine. I just hope they get paid well for working so hard.
Bottom line up front: The restaurant staff is friendly and well meaning, but they appear overwhelmed, you might be waiting for a while. The restaurant could use a good cleaning...I def experienced sticky floors. That being said, the food is awesome! (And well worth the wait)I ordered the Godzilla roll (I recommend), which was a tasty combination of different fish (I think Tuna and Scallops) and the St. Petersburg. The rolls' rice was cooked to perfection, and the texture was spot on: crunchy when it was supposed to be, and soft when it was supposed to be.Wife had the Spider roll and the Golden roll. Her only complaint was that the Golden roll had too much tempura.
My family used to always go to Soho for sushi. The staff were always very nice and the food was delicious. But it's probably been three years now since we've actually had good service. I'm not sure what happened, but whoever is hiring needs to step it up. We've got too many horror stories to share from our recent visits. Mainly, what needs to happen is the staff needs to be trained in proper customer service. They just aren't friendly and are inattentive. Last time I went to pick up an online order, the waitress walked over stared at me and then never came back to the front. Another waiter did the same thing except they seated someone who was waiting and never came back. Turns out my order was sitting right next to the register, but no one had enough time to just hand it to me. They definitely need to step it up with the customer service or you're going lose the customers!
Sushi has gotten sooo much better here. I always loved their rolls, but, for a while I did not like the Nigri because the rice was consistently under cooked. I've been going again more lately, and the Nigrihas gotten to be sooooo much better. Rice is cooked perfect, flavor on the fish is amazing. Rolls have all been excellent. Yes, we had a minor issue once, but I'm chalking that all up to covid staffing shortage stuff. Outside of that, it's been really great!
We went for happy hour. It was delicious and affordable. Great experience! The sake was watered down but everything was so affordable that we couldn't really complain.
Came here to celebrate, and Soho Sushi was perfect in every way. The food was delicious on every level of texture and quality and flavor. The service was kind and attentive. Highly recommend!
