Very nice inside , fresh food , everything was very good tasting
Knowledgeable sushi chef and friendly wait staff made our banquet pleasant and enjoyable. There were several different kinds of nigiri and the beautiful sashimi boats. They were excellent. Fresh fish and the extra dishes for kids. This was the first time here but the first impression was great, especially because I didn’t any good sushi restaurants as this in Sacramento area. Very pleasant and delightful surprise to see this Japanese sushi restaurant. The sushi were almost as good as in other places in Southern California and tasted almost authentic Japanese sushi. Long rolls were also excellent: not overly marinated and not salty. We will make this restaurant as part of our good eatery list.
This place has been our favorite sushi place for years. We went for dinner last night, party of 11.Everything was delicious as always and our waiter was friendly & attentive. Thank you Samurai Sushi.
I ordered tonkotsu ramen was very disappointing that the noodles was really soggy. I won’t be going back there thats for sure. I didn’t get a greeting when I walked through the door either. The lady who served me didn’t give me a warm welcome and just had a really uptight personality.
This place is AMAZING!! The chef specials never ever disappoint and they are always so big, you never need more. Im genuinely obsessed with this place!
I’ve always loved this place and missed dining in. They’ve done a great job of making tables far enough apart and have plastic barriers that I feel comfortable.

The moment we walked in this place we were practically ignored. When we sat down, a party of 9, they told us they were “slowly” going to take care of us. I’ve never been to a restaurant where they say such a thing!We even called to place a reservation an hour before yet they acted like they didn’t want us there. They didn’t offer any water to us for the first 20 minutes and didn’t take our order after 30-40 minutes of us sitting at the table. They brought out our appetizers with no appetizer plates or silverware!! We had to ask for the plates and silverware!! Absolutely ridiculous! They made us wait 20-30 minutes between the meals being delivered. That means we couldn’t eat together as a family and some of us had to watch the others eat while we were sitting hungry! We got no water refills and I had to ask them to clear our table of dirty appetizers plates from our edamame and tempura! The food was mediocre at best and overall the atmosphere in there feels like it was a terrible diner turned into a terrible sushi place. Do better and if you you can’t accommodate a table then it’s better to just say no than give horrible service!
