We made a 5 pm reservation for Sunday. We got there at 4:45 pm and were promptly seated. We didnât get our food until almost 6 pm. That is over the top unacceptable. We intentionally made an early reservation exactly because we wanted to come when it was not so busy so we could be done at a reasonable time. That did not happen. There were only 2 of us so it is not like a was a big crowd. The food was great. The waitress was fine. But the amount of time between when we ordered our meal and when it came is just not acceptable

Don't be put off by the exterior appearance like I was, as a first time diner. If you want good food and well prepared. you won't go wrong at Rudy's. The prime rib was perfectly cooked, tender and tasty. Salad and bread are included as were the green beans which were perfectly cooked and tasty. They don't seem to be short of staff, our server was 5 star and the prices are comparable to other restaurants with similar type entrees. prime rib, lobster and steak.

Great food and service. We will go back for sure. The clam chowder was very good and of course the lobster was to die for.
Our experience wasn't great. The hostess didn't acknowledge us when we came in as she was busy saying goodbye to another couple. She seated us in a new room we hadn't seen before which was very open and full of large, very noisy parties. Our server, Sergio was great. The food was very good but not the value that it used to be.
