I received very subpar (non-existent) service here.I entered around 1:00pm and walked up to the ordering area in front of the register and stood there for 3-5 minutes. Was not greeted. Nobody said “hello”, or any kind of acknowledgment whatsoever. There was nobody else in line, just someone waiting for an online pickup. One woman behind the counter wrapped up bagging up an online order, then printed two more tickets which I suppose she was going to work on before even thinking of helping me. I left after standing like an idiot at the counter for several minutes.I recently started coming to Rubios because I like their burritos more than Chipotle. But at least at chipotle I have NEVER had to stand at the counter unacknowledged while employees mill about. I will not be back!
They barely put anything in the burrito I ordered. Barely any rice or other ingredients, only beans. And the beans weren't even properly cooked. Had to get as much beans out as I could, even took picture of extra extra beans because I didn't order bean burrito. Same with chips. Seems like they just making impressions of giving you what you ordered. Not a good experience.
I absolutely LOVE Rubio's, every time I have ever been to the restaurant the food is fire! This time I ordered the Coastal Trio Taco Plate, I can't even tell you how freaking delicious it was! If you are indecisive about what to get, seriously just go with the Coastal Trio Taco plate. You get 3 very differently made tacos that are each mouth watering, and I still couldn't tell you which one I like best because they are each so uniquely tasting individually. I also added on the beans and chips with 2 sides of salsa for a tad more. This dish will certainly fill you up alone by itself without the add on, but I like salsa and beans. The service is quick and the employees are friendly. Surprisingly it was not busy when we were there.
Shrimp tacos here a good like the flavor and they use good tortillas.
I absolutely love the flavor of their foods, always so fresh and ready in no time at all.
Never fails. Chopped salads aren’t what they used to be. Was always my go to for lunch. But the chicken is always burnt. They don’t add all the ingredients & they have given me the wrong dressing. This location has gone DOWN HILL. whoever is managing it needs to do better. Everyone needs to be trained again.
Food is okay at best. Seems like most of the time, when ordering through the app, directions aren't followed. Also they will mark order as completed in the app (ready for pick-up) but I've shown up and still had to wait 10-15 min at least twice because they hadn't even started making it.
I ordered the burrito Especial with steak I live literally 4 minutes away I got home the burrito was cold it tasted okay the rice inside was a little hard. The most disappointing thing about my visit to Rubio's today was the customer service the girl at the register didn't put any sauces in the bag I had to ask for sauce and she had an attitude about giving them to me I will not be back.
I'm a frequent patron of Rubio's since they opened. It's very sad to see this place in such decline. There's a lack of organization which leads to large delays and poor quality of service. Make sure you check your order before you leave as mistakes are frequent. Plan to spend 3-5 times longer than estimated waiting during lunch or dinner hours.
On 9/22/21 I walked into this establishment at 7pm. Someone was finishing at the counter so I waited for my turn. After she finish helping the patron she turned to say something to a co-worker then proceeded to walkover to me and say that they are closed. She apologized that the door had not been locked. Now I thought it strange to not help me since clearly it was their error, but they asked me to leave. I will never again go to this Rubios establishment.
