Good food at a reasonable price in todays time.
I used to really like Popeyes, however, the online app is not customer friendly (unable to select/request dark meat only) and this location is not a good one. I ordered a 4 piece on the mobile app (again, remember, unable to select/request dark meat), I drive to this location around 11:30 a.m. which is not far from where I work, there are only two cars ahead of me, however, it is taking a very long time to process orders. When I arrive to the speaker to order, I am immediately told they'll be with me in just a minute, 4-5 minutes later, someone comes on to take my order, I inform them I placed the order on the mobile app, however, could I request to have dark meat only, I do not receive a response for approx. 1 minute ( I wondered if anyone was still there), then someone came back and said, "Okay, drive up to the window." I get my order, I have a very small wing, a drumstick, a thigh, and a chicken breast (white meat). I threw the chicken breast away. Not an efficient location, and you have to pay for something that you don't/won't eat, there is no way I will be doing this again. I can go to the supermarket deli and order an 8 piece of dark meat for less than this 4 piece (3 piece after the throw away breast piece) and get the supermarket order much faster than this location's drive thru process.
While the food was ok, (some of the chicken strips undercooked...threw them out), the drive through attendant was not. Unpleasant, seemingly uncaring, and just rude. Saw a couple other employees inside that at least had smiles on their faces....much better option to have someone there who actually WANTS to be there. Responses on the order speaker should have prepared me..."gotchu bruh"...all in all not a pleasant experience...wont be back
My friend and I had lunch here today. We arrived before noon and missed the 12:00 lunch rush. We ordered two Classic Cajun Flounder sandwiches and two small diet cokes. The fish sandwiches were prepared quickly and served hot. They weren’t served with tartar sauce just two pickles and Mayo. You had to ask for tartar sauce. They don’t offer it unless you ask. I thought it was also supposed to be served with lettuce but I could be wrong. The reason for only three stars was their unfriendly, impolite customer service. The facility itself was spacious, well appointed and clean but the service was terrible.
I understand alot of places are short staffed, but the customer service here is not good! They are very rude. Alot of younger adults working the drive through and have no customer service skills! I asked for 6 shrimp baskets and then changed it to four and he says but you just said 6 doe, So what do you want? When I got to the window I payed and ge said park and slammed his deive thru window. I didnt engage because I know how difficult it has been…. But sheesh, my little heart was kind of crushed from the disrespect!
Taranicha, is such a sweetheart! She cares about her customers and is so respectful. I don't know her but my experience was great. Great customer service is so important and honestly overlooked, so I wanted to make sure it is known shes an amazing spirit. Thank you!
I only give it two stars because there’s this one single black woman who’s sweet, but most everyone else here I’ve had terrible experience with. Every time I come here is an ordeal. Last time I came, I was standing at the counter for 4-5 minutes trying to get help. There were a lot of employees working right behind the counter, and I understand being busy but they didn’t even acknowledge me. One of the workers came and got on the register I was standing at, but didn’t even make eye contact with me. He was just standing there looking around at first…. Then began pressing buttons on it and doing stuff, and I waved my hand at him trying to get his attention but he just ignored me. I began saying “hey, hello” waving my hands literally a foot in front of him. He continued to I assume pretend I wasn’t there. This went on for about 45 seconds, and finally I said “are you working the register?” He looks up and just says “no.” Meanwhile, an employee is in an argument with a customer about how he put his hot food in a cold serve container, which caused wax to melt into his food. He denied there was a problem, but the customer was persistent and he finally was able to get another one (but that one was in the wrong container again so they had to redo it again.) I’ve had employees be rude to me on many occasions, I’ve ordered a sandwich and fries and had them literally forget the sandwich even though it’s the main item lol. This place just seems really poorly managed, some of the employees are nice but they always seem way too busy even if there aren’t many customers around. Even the nice employees seem absolutely miserable, it's clear most of them hate their job and it makes me uncomfortable every time I go in. I feel guilty for even being there like it's my fault for wanting food, that's just how some of them make you feel. Idk what's going on there but the wait time is always huge, there's always some item they don't have. Chicken, fries, etc... I’ve seen people wait over an hour for food here. This isn't a rare occurance, it's what I expect going in. I avoid going there now and just order delivery because I don't really feel comfortable going in there anymore. I don’t know what’s going on there, but it’s probably the worst fast food service in the area (and I go to a lot of restaurants.) I don’t know what can be done, but please fix this restaurant’s service. There’s even more things that have happened, but I feel like I’ve made my point. Please save this store.
Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Not just once, but on 3 separate visit. I will not go to this location. I'll make the extra trip to a chick fil a or KFC or even drive to folsom or elk grove before I'd go back here...! Good luck with this one folks!
I suggest to try a different location. This location keeps forgetting my mashed potatoes and when I finally do get it, I only get one out of two. I should have checked the bag but this should shouldn’t be a problem. I should be able to trust what I ordered will be in the bag. Also, there needs to be a quality control check here. Extra fries vs regular fries are the same portion. That’s cheating customers of their money. Also, there is no way I got regular sized mashed potatoes. It was inside a tiny saucer cup. It was four sporks sized bites. I checked the photos of other locations and it’s not the same container.
Food always tastes great here. It's my favorite spot for a quick bite, though on the more expensive side for fast food.
