MOD pizza is always delicious. Love the variety of toppings. This was my first time at this location and I was disappointed. We visited this last Sunday around 4pm. It was completely dead. The man that started our order came from the back with the most irritated look. Even that doesn't deserve the 2 stars. I was pretty disgusted that he came from the back and straight to handling my pizza dough. He grabs the dough with his bare hands and places into the crust press. After pressing the dough he then proceeds to put on gloves. Whatever on poor customer service but touching my food with bare hands after touching the swing door from the back. Not cool.
I had never been to a MOD pizza before so I was unsure what to expect. I was a little confused at first. The pizza was really good and the guy at the counter was fabulous ?. Definitely a place I'll go back to.
The attitude of the staff and confusion about ordering/paying and actually getting your order made it difficult for multiple customers. Presently waiting for order. They will have multiple customers hover over pizzas coming out and sitting on the counter. Not a good combination with kids waiting for pizza.
There was a gentleman in a hat and a tie-dye shirt working while I was there. EXCELLENT customer service, everyone else not so much. I didn't catch his name, but he was greeting customers, manning the oven, taking orders and remaining positive. I understand retail in the food industry isn't easy, and while people come for the food, they come back for the experience. Great job.
Amazing customer service! I am a dingdong who ordered an online mod pizza order for hungry basketball players and accidentally had it prepared at the incorrect location. When I realized my mistake and I called that incorrect location, the gentleman who was working took it upon himself to call the correct location and have my order transferred there. He’s a rockstar!!! And the pizzas were amazing - hungry boys inhaled every piece.
Carlos has great customer service! Very impressed on how fast and easy was to order, we didn’t have to wait much either!Thank you so much Carlos!(Found out he’s the regional manager of Sacramento, hopefully all employees will learn from him)
Pizza is good but the people making it not so much. I watched the girl make my pizza go to the back with the same gloves she grabbed my topings and then whent to the back using the same gloves and grabbed more toppings only to touch my pizza again with those same gloves. It was so unprofessional and gross to say the least. Don't hire filthy people that don't care about ur food I would have said something but I pick and choose my battles wisely. Word to higher ups get rid of the girl with the braids and fast.
The pizza was amazing. Everyone can have what they want. The best part is the price for speciality pizza gorgeous each person is so cheap.
My pizza was so burnt ? won't come to this location again even after a tip I get burnt pizza cause there was only one worker trying to do three different things at once.
Ordered over $50 worth of pizza and salad to be delivered just down the street. They had the unprofessional DoorDash deliver it. It arrived late and the pizza was cold. Delivery dude was lazy and ignorant. The salad was not in a bag, no forks at all were included for the salad, and no napkins provided. I'll never use either Mod Pizza or DoorDash again!
