I ordered the catfish basket yesterday which I have had before and know it comes with three full pieces of fish as advertised…I received 3/4 of a piece and was charged $16.00…I will probably never eat there again I don’t like a dishonest business
It's hard to mess up boiled seafood with butter sauce choices. We order the corn on the cob also, reminds me of KFC's.The restaurant is not very big, mostly tables, and it can be fairly loud. The tables are covered in paper and you eat with your hands and crack the seafood and throw shells in a bucket on the table. They provide bibs, tools for cracking, etc. I would recommend bringing wet rags in a ziplock, but they provide a wet wipe for the end.I've been here 3 times now, and will definitely be back.
Ordered the Thick Blast-Garlic butter 1 pound shrimp. Honestly not good at all. Like others have mentioned the price is up there. Will not order from here again.
It’s good for some people but for me and my family the first time we went there 5 days ago and the service was terrible the calm chowder was horrible my waitress left for her 15min break and NO ONE came to give us refills or lemons and NO ONE came to check on us they gave us rude service and extremely expensive 100% do NOT recommend there was a BUNCH of flies all around us I put the complainant on my waitress and all I saw was them laughing I would NEVER come back!!!!
If you want to be disappointed and not get your money's worth, order here. We ordered the 1 lb shrimp, but it wasn't barely half a pound, the fried oysters and calamari are only 5pcs and to make it look a lot, there were solid flour, the garlic noodle tasted like plain noodle, considering we ordered extra garlic. NEVER AGAIN.
Well I really wanted to make my husband happy for our 1st wedding anniversary and we have been waiting for this occasion to try the Firehouse...what a disappointment. My husband's seafood boil bagwas over cooked and rubbery. By the time he got the lobster tail open he had a piece of meat the same size as the overcooked shrimp. I wanted a simple bowl of clam chowder but was disgusted with the lumps in it like old milk. There's so many complaints about this place and I don't have all night. Would have felt better giving $80 to the homeless man outside and buying a can of soup next door at .99 cent store. Never again. I don't recommend and especially if you are planning a special occasion around this place. Service was lacking as well. Kept looking for the friendly servers as seen in other reviews.I must be at the wrong location. Next time we'll go to the Boiling Crab

So good! Made my own bucket! Snow crab, crawfish, and lobster tail with corn! The price wasn’t outrageous, been to seafood around California and the coast robs you for so little! Will be back if I’m ever in the area again! Staff were awesome too!
