Great tasting food. Good service. Reasonable prices.
The food is authentic! El Favorito is our favorite Mexican food location. We first visited on a Sunday, and were surprised they were serving menudo with handmade tortillas. I think the handmade tortillas are a weekend treat because they didn't have them during the week. Second time, we ordered to go and everything was hot when we were ready to eat at home and all had savory flavors. Third visit, I took my parents. They ordered the molcajete and were decently happy to not have to cook for the food to taste good. Lastly, my daughter and I had an early dinner date. My selective eater said everything she ate was delicious (quesadilla, fries, and fried fish). Bonus they have a self serve chip section with a variety of salsas, pico de gallo, along with pickled onions, and picked jalepeños with carrots and onions.
Food is always good and a they make great michaladas.
This place its about 60% Mexican flavor i ordered the tostada mix and it had 0 flavor, ordered tacos and they came with tons of salsa without me asking for salsa overall is an ok restaurant but not somewhere i would call 100% mexican flavor, salsa bar on picture.
Everything I've eaten at this establishment has been excellent. My go to is a chorizo and al pastor jumbo burrito
The taste is average but girl at the cash register was very arrogant and was doing rude gestures. I will never come back again I can eat much better tasting Mexican food in a much better restaurant and with good service. I will never go back to this restaurant again.
Nice little restaurant on folsom Blvd went here for taco Tuesday and yes the tacos ? were really good staff was nice great place will be going back
Carne en su jugo is my go to its a tomatillo based soup with beans asada and bacon with avocado so good
Great service, the food is authentic, and our order was ready very quickly. Will definitely be coming back.
My go to place. Great food. Everything is good.
