Big fan of Cattlemens for decades. Good spot for large gatherings or date night. Good bar with lots of drink options. The food is great. Haven't picked a bad menu item. Service has usually been good. Nothing to complain about. Have always had a 5 star experience.
Made reservations for4:15 ,they sat us right away. Joe was very attentive, the staff were friendly. We had the meal for two the Rib Eye was very tended and cooked to order and the deep fried Apple Pie a la mode was delicious. Would highly recommend✌
Met my brothers for dinner at the Rancho Cordova Cattlemens. Parking lot offers lots of shade thanks to numerous trees. Dinner salad was very good and arrived with FRESH lettuce (not all restaurants can accomplish this rather important part of any salad). Appreciated salad being served in a family sized bowl which allowed a second serving at my table. My sirloin steak was delicious and cooked exactly as I requested. Beer on tap: ice cold... just the way I like it
What an amazing steak.Service was good.I had only 1 issue.I asked for a loaded baked potatoe amd when it arrived the potatoe was not even open and 3 small pieces of bacon bits and a 1/4 oa a teaspoon of chives.I told the server she told the kitchen and the cook said no i could not have ant more he was too busy.I wasn't very happy but I said OK.And about halfway through my mail the waitress brought me more but said she had to steal it.So not so happy with the cook's decision.
Rib meat was delicious, soft and fell off the bone, rib eye steak is great too. I love the sitting, table privacy. Server Ryan was very helpful.
Bartender is the best Bartender ever! Didn't get her name. Service was amazing. I think his name was Matt. He made us so comfortable.

A coworker made reservations for us for Christmas get together. When we arrived, they didn't have our reservation. He showed them the reservation confirmation from them, and the staff did their best to accommodate us. We ended up with tables pushed together in the bar area.The staff itself was excellent. We had a great waiter, who made best what he could out if the situation. Kudos to him for that. The bar staff was also great. I got the salmon as id eaten earlier and couldn't do a steak, and it was cooked well. The place is loud and crowded, which is no problem for me, but if that isn't your thing maybe book somewhere else. This also may have been due to the fact that we didn't get to eat in the main dining room as they messed up our reservation, but I can only review what I experienced.Again huge negative on messing up our reservation, if they hadn't been able to seat us in the bar that would have really sucked for our Christmas get together...but again awesome staff and service.
Went 30 or 40 before closing wasn't busy at all but it took a while to get seated and for someone to come take our order. I ordered a long island ice tea and there was hardly any alcohol in it. Your not supposed to be able to see through long island ice teas. However the food was wonderful. Perfectly cooked steak yummy mashed potatoes and the bread was nice and warm.
Great experience and excellent food. I have been to many Steakhouses, in many states. This was in the top 5
