A nice atmosphere with friendly staff.Worth checking out if you are in the area.
Is it a 4 or 3 stars spot? Overall its not bad, but really nothing to rave about. "Sake House"? Dont even have a sake menu. No happy hour neither. Korean operated Japanese food. Cater to local families I guess. Rolls and typical "westernized" Japanese food. Know what to expect and this is probably gonna be an "ok" spot. For me? Not so much.
High quality food at a very reasonable price. Very clean and comfortable inside. We love the beef bulgogi and Hawaiian roll! Most definitely worth a try!

delicious ramen and poke lunch combo with good portions. took a star off for the paper cups and paper plates as the sushi rice gets stuck and unravels. definitely coming back.

This place has amazing food and incredible customer service. I'm originally from Japan, so their ramen reminds of food I had back in my childhood. Great place!
My go-to place for great Japanese food in Poway. It's closer to my place and easier parking too. Great service and hope they expand their space for bigger groups too.
Excellent flavors and excellent service. Whether you’re ordering takeout or eating in, they always include a handful of treats/cookies to wrap up the meal. Haven’t tasted anything bad, but the garlic edamame is killer good. Love their sake, ramen, rolls, bulgogi, and poke. They even gave our kids fun Japanese drinks with the little marble inside. This is definitely one of our regular places now. We used to always hit up Poway Sushi Lounge but it’s always a wait. Not here, thankfully and it’s pretty small inside. I’m ok with keeping it a gem of the area ?
Best Ramen I've found in the San Diego area. After living in Japan for years I thought I would never have good Ramen again until I found this place!
