This was the first time I dined at this Tio Leo's. If you know this chain, you know that it isn't hoity toity gourmet but, as I learned this day, their dishes are very consistent in quality and presentation across the different locations. I had the chicken chimichanga and it hit the spot. The salsa for the chips was tasty and had a slight bit of heat. Our servers were attentive and friendly. 5 stars for satisfaction.

Staff was friendly but the food didn't have much flavor to it and isn't worth the price tag. I wouldn't recommend the place. Don Pollo Grilled Chicken in Poway has way better food and is less expensive than this place.

Food is always good. Chips and salsa are on point. Something about this location lacks ambience. So that’s why it’s 4 star.

Not as fancy as I remember other locations being. We used to go to the Mira Mesa and Del Mar location before it closed. This Scripps Poway location is more like a sports bar atmosphere. Also the food wasn't anything to write home about, so I'll just leave this here.

From the moment we entered the restaurant we were greeted by Eva, she was very friendly. She immediately sat my wife and I to our table. Our server, Sara, then came to the table and helped us with the dinner menu. We couldn't help notice the staff working in such unison, which was so impressive since my wife had been in the business for over 30 years and cant help to notice. The menu had ample choices to choose from and we ultimately shared a green chili verde pork dish which was fantastic! Don't forget to ask for the incredible GUAC, as fresh and delicious as you can get. A big shoutout to Eva and Sara and to the rest of the kitchen staff for a exemplary show of service which is hard to find these days. This is our new go to restaurant when we are in town!

Ordered two plates of chicken flautas to go. They only made one. Said they could make another quickly. The 2nd one was served as a raw uncooked tortilla. Didn't order a burrito.Very disappointing when this exact dish was delicious in restaurant two weeks ago.

Food was average. Not bad at all, just not memorable. With that said, the beans were stand out.The people were friendly but I did feel a bit neglected and it took a while to get the check.Nothing to make the place bad at all, but as mentioned, just nothing standout.

First time here. We usually go to the one on Mission Gorge but decided to try this one since we were in the area. The menu is different, so were the salsa and chips. The queso with chorizo was watery, Mission Gorge is thicker. I normally get the Chile relleno so I decided to see if it was different here too. It did have a different taste, not authentic. Not as good. Rice and beans meh. Beef burrito was greasy. Atmosphere cute, but AC was turned down low so it was freezing. Overall food presentation was good. Didn't like the flavor. We were disappointed since we were told the locations were the same. Sorry but I'll always love the Mission Gorge restaurant.

This is exactly what I had, carne asada tacos and they were great, tasty and filling. Rice and beans, with the little cup of hot sauce which compliments the entire plate of goodies! Muy bueno!

This is a great place for excellent food. I usually order ahead and never have to wait long.
