Such a great local hangout, gathering spot for friends or casual date nights. Great for kids and dogs also.
Decent selection of different beers on tap. Nice menu however preparation is lacking. Black bean burger was mushy, sweet potato fries were limp, vegetable appetizer had been over cooked and appeared to have been boiled. Service was efficient and outdoor seating is nice. Fix the food preparation and there is potential for a neighborhood hot spot.
We ordered Brats and Hop Stop Burger they were great choices.I don’t recommend ordering Tater Tots, it doesn’t worth the calories.Beers are a must here. The staff is polite and helpful, we got seated right away on Sunday at noon. I would recommend making a reservation if you are a big group. The vibe was cool. it has a playgroup and a nice outdoor sitting area which everyone in the family can enjoy. the chairs, shades, and of course beers make it comfortable to spend time outside with your people for a long time.
Delicious pretzel & sweet potato waffle fries. There was a lot for the kids to entertain themselves with, connect 4, corn hole & jenga. And a great beer selection.
Friends and I have been here many times but no more. Visited yesterday, food now below typical bar food. Lines to wait to fetch your own drinks. Dirty picnic tables. Singer at the so called live band horrendous. I didn't visit for their so called "live band" but anything would have been better. Most important, no smiling faces or any thanks for the business from any staff.. Much better to go somewhere with a full waiter/ waitress staff and probably lower prices.
Fun in town pub. We love meeting there for the outdoor dining and the multiple TVs to watch different games on. Its family friendly and pets to if you need to bring them along too. I just wish it had other than beer and soda.
Very nice space. Inside and out.The beer selection has something (craft & wonderful) for every palate. A selection of nice wines also available & fountain drinks for the kids... Yup, families welcome.Good & tasty selection of dishes from their kitchen.Classic gathering spot easy to get to but not on the main path.Locals rejoice! Visitors welcome and embraced.+A staff that will treat you right!P.S.While San Diego & Poway have a wide selection of "other" places to go for a brew & a bite. The Hop Stop is top of the list with my crew.My only change recommendation is for maybe a couple of additional vegetarian options.
Cool spot to hang with family and friends. Drinks and food pretty good. Can get a little hectic when ordering because the bartender takes orders from both the inside and outside counters. Overall cool spot to go.
Super chill, fun place, to have a beer or cider!! So great they have a pet friendly outdoor patio!! ? Beautiful area in old Poway, on Midland Rd. We will definitely be back! ?
