Filippi's is simply the best.Excellent food, large portions plus good prices. What more could you ask for??The service was wonderful too. Very attentive while covering many tables.Never a bad experience at Filippi's...never.

We have been going to Filippi’s for years whether it is to dine in or take out the food is always consistently amazing. The “Fit for a King” pizza is delicious and I think one of the best pizza’s around. The meatball is good too but the FFK has everything you could want and it is a fixed price (instead of adding everything and running up the bill). Poway Filippi’s is closest to home for us and we love ordering on-line and bringing food home. Everything is really good but last visit my daughter and I got sandwiches. My meatball sandwich was huge and packed with meatballs, onions, peppers, and cheese (those were extra’s and cost a little more but was well worth it). Meatballs were juicy and yummy and the onions and peppers just gave it a little extra something. My daughter got (what she thought would be) the ham and cheese sandwich and she said it was one of the best she has had. The ham was sliced thinly and the sandwich was stuffed. For around $10/ea these sandwiches were way tastier than most deli sandwiches (not naming quick service places). My son went with his usual, his favorite there the chicken parm dinner. He got a workout just carrying the bag. Dinner includes garlic bread and a nice side salad for about $16 and there was plenty for him for two nights (and he is a growing 16 year old) Worth the drive to pick up food! Employees are great, and even when busy food is always hot and ready within a good amount of time.
Great service for our large party and plenty of food for all. I recommend sharing if you're not too hungry, they had generous portions! The house salad dressing is delicious too!!!
Filippi’s food has been among the very best for decades, and their prices haven’t skyrocketed recently like so many restaurants. A family combo meal is enough for three or four rational meals. One of our favorite places to eat, or to take home.

Boyfriend said this place was essential SD. So we went...right before hittin' up Poway candy cane Lane (but after hittin' that tokerewski). Could it be biased then, this review?NO! This spot is legit!Walked in Saturday night, expecting a wait. And we were right. But don't trip, it was only 30 minutes. Also, we can't be too upset as we rolled 2 deep at 7:30 for the dinner rush.Having said that...worth the wait. LOTTA cheese, a perf amount of jalapenos and the service was on point. Big smiles, constantly seeing how they can help the customer and a good team dynamic.If I were you, I'd go here.
This is the greatest local pizza chain! I remember getting a pie in little Italy kitchen with my family as a little girl. The chef would toss balls of pizza dough. If the world would come to an end, Filippi's Pizza would be my last meal request. 50 years and counting and it's the best cold pizza on the planet.
Place wasn't that busy yet the service was slow. Felt like the service staff were too comfortable. Filippi's makes their pizza with heavy cheese topping. We usually ask the waitress to reduce the amount of cheese in our order, the pizza arrived heavy with cheese. She completely ignored our request. Go for the Torpedo sandwich instead. LOL
??❤️❤️? this Filippi's has the best customer service best service and the employees have a great attitude and the food is awesome. This Filippi's in Poway is way better than Escondido Filippi's. If you're going to go to a Filippi's definitely go to the one in Poway not the one in Escondido.
