A nice little hidden gem if you’re looking for good ol’ fashioned home cookin. The food is just how it should be for a home style breakfast. Servings are generous, servers were attentive with water and coffee always being refilled and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. No wait time on a Sunday morning when visited.Give ‘em a try next time you’re in the area, if not it’s worth the drive.
It’s a mama and papa restaurant. I always try not to hurt these small places and avoid be too tough on them but I’m reluctant to diss recommend the place - the food was medium at best but the highlight was the owner who asked me if I want to add tip to the bill, charged me beyond the total I have told him and showed up with cash I was paying by the credit card - which add additional fee to the bill. I’m not planning to visit this restaurant again.
I ordered hash browns and they were still raw and super mushy. Absolutely no seasoning whatsoever. By far the worst hash browns I’ve ever had. Do not recommend.

The bacon was really crispy without being burnt. French toast was very good. Blueberry pancakes were also good.
Been going to Cullys for 35 years. Great home style food.
Food was the standard breakfast item, French Toast, wet eggs and bacon, all very good and made to order. Service was meh! Owner was there, very nice man. I probably won't go back due in part to many other breakfast restaurants to explore in the area but I would suggest you check out this place as my friends really raved about it.

Stayed in Poway while visiting my Mom and family - came across Cully's and tried their chicken fried steak! T'was aWesome! Highly recommend coming here!!! Very nice staff and customers... And Farmer's brand coffee!
