I'm not the one to leave a bad review but when it comes to my food especially my family's food, then it's a big deal. This torta costed $11. It was suppose to be carnitas and its all burnt. I got the top of a tomatoe on both halves. The mango smoothie tasted like soap and I think the ice cream they used was old or something because the after taste was gross like the smell of mold if you know what I mean. I've never had a bad smoothie like this before. My son had one of these smoothies too. I hope he does not get an upset stomach or worse.... The first and last time I ever come.
The soup that I ordered had rotten potatoes, zucchini, old cilantro and uncleaned carrots. I don’t want to eat out anymore.
Huge improvement over the last time we visited. Carne and Pollo asada were delicious! I'd say the best in Poway at the moment. The fam was very happy and pleased.
First time in, loved it! Fruit salad and basic tostada. I get the feeling they are better at fruits and stuff than carne asada, but it was good. Covid has most business in complete shambles with staff and supply, seemed fine to me here. Thanks for the fresh fruit
Awesome place friendly staff, they have a walk in eatery with an ice cream selection that rivals thrifty. My favorite food is the bira tacos (hopfully spelled that right). The horchata has never been watered down and the burritos come in all types even hot cheetos. Worth the visit , worth the wait.
CHAMANGO! Where has this magical drink been all my life??! That was awesome!The lady in the front is working hard and was bustling to get my order and the drive through orders done.Food was good! Will be back.

When their food is good, it's amazing. The problem is when it isn't. The other night I ordered a bean and cheese burrito. Mind you, it only has bean and cheese in it and it's like that every time. But this time I found a whole Chilli pepper AND A CHICKIN BONE! Safe to say, I will only order stuff where I can see all the contents, like their delicious Carne asada fries.
My husband bought 2 orders of tostilocos and a elote, to the tostilocos they forgot to put the tostitos ? and to the elote they didn’t put cheese ?
No more business with you guys! We were just waiting our meal through Uber Eats since 5:50 pm, then it got delayed to 7:10, and right when we checked, the restaurant cancelled our order. Waiting more than 1 hour just to get it cancelled. Lack of respect!!! The driver was there and you guys never gave him anything.
