Almost everyone that works here is super friendly, and I love the interactions I have with them. The coffee & chocolate is amazing, I love all of the nut brittles as well. Favorite place for coffee & sweets. The rewards program is awesome

Great coffee and chocolates
A gem in an unexpected place. Easily top 3 artisanal chocolate places I've been in the US. The gooey bar is also fantastic.Only downside is while their milk chocolate is excellent, their dark chocolate is only average. 5 stars nonetheless.
Best chocolates store period. I love all the different varieties and can't wait to get more. A Porterville Treasure and worth the price!

I have family up here, so I get the warm fuzzies when I visit. Stafford's doesn't have the variety of Reimers Chocolates (another nearby 5-star chocolate shop) but what they have is just as wonderful. Love their 'new' location in downtown Porterville. There they make a hot chocolate that is, BY FAR, the best I've ever had. I could taste the fruityness of the chocolate they used! Mind blown.For newcomers, just buy all the ooey - gooey bars you can afford, then try the rest on your next visit.
I've had the blessing of visiting the establishment a couple of times. The staff is very friendly. You can sample free chocolates. There's so many differently flavors. There are creative cute designs too. Today when I went in I saw a two pack hedgehog candies. They also had little chocolate turkey candies. I bought two cookies: a lemon flavored and smore-themed. There's so much to choose from. Although the items are a bit pricey, they're worth every penny. You gotta check this place out downtown Porterville!
