Maximos has the best asada fries in the valley. Worth the hour drive. Everything about the asada fries is great. Especially the thick cut always crispy fries. Other places always have small thin soft fries. Plus the price is fair with all the toppings which comes with avocados, crema, cheese, tomatoes, cilantro, and onions. Overall great place for asada fries. Aguas fescas are good too.
Everything I have ever ordered from this place has been amazing, the quality, quantity, and flavor has been great. I understand why this place was recommended to me by multiple people from the Porterville area.
I came to Maximo’s looking for a New Mexican spot to try out and boy was I surprised when I ordered my asada fries. The staff was amazing so polite and courteous. The food was absolutely loaded and worth the money although it seemed kind of high very worth it. Top 3 spot in town for sure would highly recommend. The kids working there seem very enthusiastic about their job and I hope they are payed appropriately for their kindness.

Stopped in after driving All day heading to the Ag Expo. This place is a gem, Great Al Pastor tacos and chips with Guacamole. I will definitely be visiting again every time I’m in town..

We went to Maximos 2 years ago when we visited California and the food was amazing! Came back again and order the same dishes but we weren't impressed like before. The food was cold and the amount of food is way less than before. So sad.
