Used to be amazing. Never again.Fries were served burnt. Seriously, burnt. Had been cooked, got cold and re dunked in hot grease. Fish was served same way. Overcooked, dripping oil.Chicken sandwich was ok.We used to adore this place, not sure what has happened, but this was awful, inedible and honestly, it should have been embarrassing for them to serve anyone something like this.I do not recommend.
If you want a small town diner feel, this is the place in Porterville. They have a better breakfast selection than your run of the mill Dennys or Black Bear. Try them out and enjoy the great hospitality.
Yummy...I just ate the best omelette ever !!Since I have been visiting this town for business I have eaten several meals here. The food does not disappoint.
Went in on a Sunday morning . Really busy their was only one server their and she did an awesome job very impressed with the way she managed and worked the whole restaurant. Her being the only server with two other host helping her . Food did take some time but was well worth it. She was very attentive and friendly . I will definitely come back just to have her service .
Haven’t been in for about 2 years . I was very impressed with service and food . I been hearing it is under new owners but had to give them a try . Server was very attentive, and respectful. You can tell she loves doing what she does being a server I will definitely come back to this place different atmosphere but that shouldn’t hold you back from getting good service or food ??
This place has the best food ever. Great customer service and the prices as decent. Very clean and the atmosphere is relaxing.
Asked for steamed eggs and got them over easy. Asked for a medium rare steak and got it with barely any pink. They forgot all about the pancakes and eggs that came wirh what we ordered and the blonde haired waitress took our order and never came back. The single longest amount of time I've ever been in a restaurant and spent most of it waiting for the food.
Had breakfast, I dont know if the waitress was having an off day, but she wasn't very helpful, she took our order, only brought half of our order and had to be reminded that our order was not complete, and then when the rest of our food was brought, we had to ask for it to go, we were never checked on and it wasn't very busy when we arrived.We love to support small businesses but I dont think we will be going in again
Had breakfast with the family today. When Cafe 12:2 first opened up, wait staff was cheerful and atmosphere was nice and tidy. The staff actually listened to us. The last two times, different wait staff. We had poor service, gloomy atmosphere. Although the food was good; our orders were wrong. We ordered 2 bacon avocado scrambles and a breakfast classic. We received 2 omelettes. The breakfast classic never got the hash browns. We reminded the waitress about our toast and the bus boy. We didn’t get our toast until we we almost done with our breakfast, and the toast was burnt. One order was not to have butter, well they both had butter. This is the first time I’ve placed a review. I’m not sure if I would go back again.
Haug portions!!! Very attentive staff, not to busy for it being a Sunday. Food was delicious and we will be back again soon ???
