Hours definitely need to be updated. It is not open 24hrs!
(Wednesday 2/2 2:45pm)Completely unprofessional, dirty, and not worth coming to. The service is terrible and the employees who are there seem to hate their jobs and any customer who walks in. After waiting at the front counter to order for a while without any greeting, In an empty store, the two associates “working” continued talking to each other just a few feet from me after meeting my eyes a couple times and not regarding my presence at all. They were joking and coughing all while not even wearing a mask around the food. I’ve tried contacting management but they seem to be well aware and just don’t care about customer service either. Just don’t come here if you expect good service and only if you wanna risk your health.
Asked for a waba bowl with vegetables but no cabbage. I get my meal with cabbage and TWO carrots and TWO pieces of broccoli. The meat tasted rubbery and under seasoned.
Ordered a bowl today. Employees were obviously not in an very good mood. Took it out on the quality of food. Was basically served dog food. Meat smelled funky and gave us wrong orders (not A big deal just got veggies when I didn’t want any). The meat was probably sitting there for a good while and was completely dry. Spit it out after a few chews. What happened to the old management? They used to be so nice. I guess new management came in and messed it all up.
Tried to order food here, there was only two other customers before me. I didn't get to the register yet when the cashier walked away to start making orders. I get there was only two people but at least ACKNOWLEDGE the customer! A simple "I'll be right with you" would have been enough. I was standing there for 5-10 minutes when I just walked away and left. There was no point in waiting. First and last time coming to this location.
Worst waba !! Always give me the wrong items or missing stuff
I am very disappointed in my recent experience here.The brown rice wasn't cooked right. It was still hard. The chicken was burned. What a waste of time & money. Never again?
I ordered the chicken family meal and it had waba spicy sauce on it instead of waba sauce. My kids could not eat it. This is the second time this has happened. Is there no waba sauce at this location????? Watch your order, make sure you check it before you leave.
Been coming here for quite some time, and have to say I am disappointed with the staff. No one answers the phone in the evenings and staff can be really short with customers. Last week had a family order of 4 bowls and dumplings and the two chicken bowls were absolutely disgusting. The meat was what was left on the grill, we went back and showed them and the offered a refund,but had to wait for the manager the next day. Spoke with Jorge the following day and he offered to refund the dinner, it's been over a week and have not received anything. Bad customer service.Update: after posting review Waba Grill corporate contacted me and rectified the situation. Thank you Margarita Zuniga for the fast response.
I can't back here for a long while. LA COUNTY just recommended indoor mask wearing whether vaccinated or not due to surge in Delta Variant. The two kids serving up food yesterday afternoon weren't wearing a mask. Nothing against the kids, they just most likely don't get paid enough to care why its important to wear a mask for food service especially with recent updated guidelines today. They also give a lot of carrots compared to other locations, maybe because carrots are cheaper than broccoli and cabbage ?. Sometimes chicken portions are small.
