Hadn't been there in 50+years. Went this last week, oh so many memories. Taste as good as ever. Wish we lived closer. We will be back.

Very sweet ladies working so hard. I enjoyed both the beef and pastrami. I thought it would be more homemade but seems like deli meat. Still tasty. I didn't get au jus for the beef dip. I didn't as thinking it came automatically. The potato salad good but a little salty. Macaroni has pickle relish or something not my preference. Overall good meal for a few days. I had a Pomona queen to go too. The pickle wedge was a good one.
Great beef dips and pastrami the potato salad is good. Macaroni is ok recommend the 50-50 it's two sandwiches in one
Had the Turkey Dip and potato salad. The potato salad was delicious and the turkey dip had so much meat, it was definitely worth the money and trip here.
Reminded me of Philippe's in L.A. Nice to see all ladies working in there! Ha! Sandwich was excellent, don't know why they charge extra for a piece of pickle though?? Definetly going back!
Try the half and half sandwich, half beef dip and half pastrami. Have never had meat that good. And I mean never.. I will never go to the hat or anywhere else again for a pastrami sandwich. Small hole in the wall gem in pomona. People running the place have been there for 50 years.
Have been coming here for about a year now. The food is good although I did notice that some of the food prep could be more sanitary. Did not appreciate coming in for a takeout order on a limited time schedule and watching them jump from making my sandwiches to making another customers who walked in 5 minutes after I did, and then going back to finish mine. Very unprofessional. It's first come, first serve.
Probably the best french dip sandwich I have had to date. No frills, old school sandwich shop.
