Dining opens at 5pm. We had a 5:30 reservation on a Wednesday night there were only a few other diners. Started getting crowded around 6:30 - 7pm. Had great service, food came out hot. I ordered the 8oz prime rib with 3 scallops. The scallops were in some kind of sauce i didn't care for and sprinkled with scallions i never saw them prepared in this manner and it was not stated on the menu. The salad bar is open again and includes 2 soups. You cannot buy a salad bar dinner. You have to order a entree and the salad bar is included. The cheesy bread is always good and plentiful. They do have a happy hour. Cocktails had beautiful garnish and tasted great. Lots of close self parking. I think they do valet only on the weekends but it's not needed. Great views of the valley.
Ambiance is amazing. Views at night are great. Steaks were ok. The Miners cut wasnât the best thatâs for sure. Salad bar and soup were amazing. Overall, would come back again
The buffet was well set up and the food was delicious. My only complaint was that we (party of 3) were seated in a the middle of the room with 2 very large parties. The noise level was very loud and we couldn't hear ourselves talk so we ate quickly and left. I was disappointed because my sister doesn't come to town very often and this was her requested restaurant.
It was cool but the coconut batter shrimp was not too good And the ribs wasnât too good my girl got the steak and lobster hers was really good

We had our wedding reception there 42 years ago. Decided to spend our anniversary there this year. Did not disappoint! Food and service were excellent!!!

We love it! It was our anniversary and my husband have always wanted for us to go here. It was more than 20 years since the last time he was at Pomona Valley Mining Co. same thing with Mom. It was the first time for me and our Aunt. Food, service and ambiance absolutely great. We will surely come back.
