Good food but service is slow & definitely not the best. This is the 2nd time I walked in & it felt like a good 2 mins before anyone greeted me at the front counter. I was the only customer they had so I'm not sure why it took their cashier so long to come to the front counter. I also noticed that after I was helped the cashier went back to the back before coming out to help the next person who was waiting after me. The person after me came in just a few seconds after me but was not acknowledged after I was done paying which was definitely odd as most cashiers help the individual next in line right away or at least say that they will be right with them.On the other hand, the food was quite good. I really liked the shrimp plate & the coleslaw that comes with it. I also enjoy the fried softshell crab. I wasn't a big fan of their macaroni salad or their hush puppies. The hush puppies are slightly spicey. (I think they use jalapenos. They were ok.)I like the food so I might go back, but just don't expect to be helped right away when you walk in the door.
Well hello . I finally entered the building, I called before and was left lacking the enthusiasm of the business wanting to help with information about what type of fish was on the special for that day. Well as it is in walking distance from my location I stopped in and still got the dry atmosphere with no greeting of any kind, I stood there for a few before he even came and asked what i wanted. With that same tone as I got on the phone! well I ordered anyway. It was a 40in wait until food was ready 4 catfish nuggets and 4 shrimp ?. I returned just in time to see him sacking it up so it was fresh hot. To my my surprise it was all battered in the same meal and apparently fried in the same grease so it all tasted the same with same texture. So not what I was expecting or to my liking. Thus I will not be returning. Now. others may like it like that. But I'm a Texas girl so we come correct when it comes to fish and shrimp.! So that's a strong dislike on the cooking! For me. And customer Service is substandard on many levels.So this is Just not the place for me.Try it for yourself is all I can suggest.
The food was good. It's your standard fish and chips place. Hush puppies were very tasty, however you don't come for the scenery or atmosphere, just the food. There is hardly a seating area, and no restrooms. This is the kinda place where you order ahead and simply pick up. I wouldn't take a date here. Good place for some good fish and chips though. Need work but I'd order ahead if I ate here again.
Really good food and a great price but it doesn't have a place to sit inside but they do have two picnic tables outside
I drove 15 minutes on my lunch just to get here and his debit card machine didn’t work. So no lunch for me. He didn’t care that I wasted my time and lunch break and you know he was going to throw the food away!
The fish was OK not the customer service guy was really nasty I got it was really nasty I guess because he got to move
This was my first time visiting, the food was very good, but the wait was crazy long. Over 1 and 1/2 hours for a takeout order.
This place has been here for many many years and I've never had a bad experience with the the seafood here. When I want fish this is where I go. Peace
Slow, but good service. I stopped by to pick up some cat fish for my super senior citizen father! He likes this spot!
