This Del Taco has long been a favorite of mine. I pass by the location almost daily on my way to work. They had been closed for remodeling for a hot minute, so I'm glad they've reopened again ? The food is consistently good & the service is too, even though the wait can 'sometimes' get lengthy during rush hour & Weekends! ? "But it's hard to blame them, when u realize that considering how many people come here? It must be, that the food is just that good! ? All in all, it really is one of the better Del Taco franchises around! And if u don't like to wait? Then u better get there 'Early-ish' yo!
Located on two busy streets, Orange Grove and Gary Avenue! Access to this location, when busy, is inadequate! Depending upon the chef, some employees are not congenial or polite! Service is okay, and as usual, employees do not count your money back to you! Make sure you have condiments, at times they do not supply you with them! Which is annoying! You pull off from the drive-up, and discover you're without!
This location is the absolute WORST. They're notorious for having long lines and that's not even the worst part. The worst thing about this location is at night. They're system seems to be down ALL THE TIME... Anytime from 3am to 5am... it seems like it's always the same story, "Sorry, we're closed our system is down". I call *ullshit. They need to get their act together. I honestly avoid going here. Most people I know will say the same thing, this location is horrible. This location is NOT 24 hours...
There are quite a few tasty items on their menu, I could easily recommend including the Del Burger & grilled Breakfast Wraps but, I REALLY.., like their Chicken Tacos Al Carbon with Guacamole! ? If I had to eat only one kind of fast food every single day? These 'street-type' tacos would be my Go To choice! They are savory & flavorful; w/fresh diced onions & cilantro; usually served steaming ?hot! PS; It'd prob'ly be a good idea to ask for the spicy green sauce separately bc then, u can add a little or a lot, if u like it hot Either way, I'm sure u will find most items are equally good at this location.
Good food but incredibly expensive . 3 meals hit the 30 dollars roof and there is not a chance for refills. Del Taco needs to improve the fries. The fries are just plain frozen potatoes “industrial type” without personality or originality. The place was clean but it is a problem with their prices and ways to pay. Absolutely no EBT. Staff need a social respect training and learn how to handle people on EBT. “” we don’t take that thing” said the big guy at the cash register. , For the record EBT is not free money from Tax payers . It is a loan .., Restroom? Forget it ...
I came to dine in on my way home while walking and the employees refused to open the door for me. While I’m standing in front of a sign that says dining room now open. Then I tried to order from the drive thru and they wouldn’t answer. I called the number and they made breathing noises on the other side. I called back and they left the phone off the hook. Horrible service.
They always seem to forget an item. I have to double check my order everytime we go to this location. But over all good service. You can actually see their smiles with a mask on.
So I used the app to place a pickup order for me and my bud. The app tells you upfront that they will charge yr card when u complete yr app order, not when you show up to get your food as other fast foods. Whatevs I was ok with that as the store is 5 min from home. I get to the store at dusk on a Saturday, emptier than usual parking lot... Hmmm, yay for me. Ahem, not really since the restaurant was closed. Wha??? Didn't expect that but ok so went to BK and spent less. Less than a week later I finally get the manager on the phone. Total d-bag, was too busy to get me the corporate phone number for refunds, didn't have the number to give blah blah blah (I can't be the first. Why so eager to take my money then lay hurdles for something so mundane?), Talked over me and hung up on me. Undoubtedly I called back and yes I lost my composure. So a call to corporate and customer service included a complaining comment from me with my refund request (which they resolved the same day). As for the manager, things have a way of resolving themselves in life when a tool is so blatantly wrong for the job

Very rude and disrespectful the employees acted towards me and my family. I wasn't very happy on how they served my cold burritos and french fry's I asked for a refund and gave the employee my food back and she denied me my full refund. Instead another employee approach me with a stick and scared the kids!
