This is the best vegan Mexican food that I have been to so far!Update: the restaurant is open for dine in. It's been remodeled and it's beautiful!with the most amazing service.I have been here many times, but didn't remember to do a review. Why? My mind was all crazy about the food and finishing them. You feel so satisfied when you finished the food that you forgot to do anything else! And of course, I forgot to take the pictures. Other people's pictures are pretty accurate. The rice and bean picture you see is the leftover that I'm saving for dinner! ??Food, the wet burritos are huge. Street tacos are good. The cactus plate is good. If you don't eat a lot, potato tacos plate is good enough. This place has pretty good beans and rice.The refried bean is amazing.I would not recommend the posole. I personally would not recommend the vegan cheese because it has chemical taste to it just like other vegan products on the market.For the service, Jackie and I believe two others are awesome! They are always cheerful, welcoming, and helpful! ??I believed I met the mother once when she was taking care of a homeless around the corner of the street! She is a kind person. ❤️I haven't been slimmed down since not eating meat because there's so much yummy food to discover and this is one of the places!Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone who doesn't eat meat to satisfy the craving for Mexican food. You will sure get fat! So what are you waiting for, give them your money!Vegetarian options: This is a vegetarian heaven. I will substitute vegan cheese with real cheese if you can eat dairy. Parking: Parking is okay. There's plenty of parking on the street.Dietary restrictions: If you are Buddhist vegetarian, make sure you tell them not to put onions in your food.
This is the only restaurant I have ever been to that I can confidently give 5 stars. Borreguitas is unbeatable. These people are passionate about tacos, they love the food they make and it shows. The price to quality ratio of this place is unheard of. 99¢ tacos on Tuesday is almost too good to be true. They take a traditional taco formula and imbue it with creativity and passion, making food that is at once vibrant and familiar. Go to Borreguitas, change the way you think about food.
Could there BE any better vegan Mexican restaurant around ?!I had Enchiladas and Vegan Tostaditas and was totally blown away, the rice and beans are so light and tasteful at the same time! my plant based kid would actually eat them up alone. I love their grilled cactus too. I love their beans taco together with peppers…and the owner lady was always welcoming, each of our visit was happy and satisfying for my whole family, yes my meat eater husband love this place too.I wish you guys thrive and have chain stores!! ?
This place is delicious. I started developing gluten sensitivities which has heavily limited a lot of my food, but this place has lots of food options for GF and vegan! Brought two other people with me that have no dietary restrictions and they enjoyed the food and salsa as well!

The food here is legit! Me and my husband were absolutely blown away by their authentic taste. It’s so hard to find vegan tacos that’d satisfy my non-vegan family members- I can finally say I’ve found a place! Oh, and you can’t beat their prices. Highly, highly recommend!
Currently under renovation but open for takeout. Friendy staff. Delicious food. Reasonable prices. Definitely worth the 22 miles traveled to.this place. I had a torta and a rechicken taco (cabbage/rePOLLO). Both good but the grilled cactus was my fave! Washed it down with a cold cup of agua fresca! I will return to explore the menu.
Love this place! It is so great having a vegan restaurant in Pomona. You won’t go wrong with anything here. They also offer vegetarian options as well if you do not like vegan cheese! Also, Jackie is amazing! Don’t forget to visit on taco Tuesdays!
dude food was so goood ??? i got the torta with papas & nopal added a tofu egg and phew it was messy but worth it. Also got some plátano frito ??the crema was a little off but i like to it it plain anyway :). my sister got the pozole & hot chocolate. 10/10 experience
