The only reason why I'm giving this place more than one star is because the place is always clean, and they're very nice, I tried the chicken strips a la carte, I wish I would have went back to my beloved Golden Ox on Holt, but I thought I would give this place another chance, when I got it home it looked like three of the 5 pieces were old and double fried, they were very hard, burned on one side, so hard I had to take them apart to get to the chicken in the middle, the chicken was very dry, plus she asked me if I wanted ranch or barbecue I got ranch and she charged me for it, they should tell you if they're going to charge you for it, strips should come with dipping sauce/ dressing, Golden Ox doesn't do that, very disappointed, won't be going there again.
My dad and I made an order to go and despite the buildup of drive thru orders and many customers coming up to the register for things such as to go boxes or for condiments, the cashier was on top of everything including my order. He even made sure to showcase the difference between my dad's drink and mine as the color of the beverages were similar so he used a sharpie to put RB for mine. It stood for raspberry. Definitely the best customer service I've had from a small diner. Highly recommend to anyone that wants to stop by for a quick bite
It's always super busy but it's worth the wait. Food is better than Dennys!
Food is good.. ladies are just trynna get u out the way, u can be standing there and won't even look at you lol??? charge $1 for ranch and no refills... I mean I spent $50... Really...? Personally not my fave place for dine in after this experience... But still digging drive thru lol cus food was ??
Good choice excellent bacon cheeseburger combo cooked just right didn't have to say well done and the fries alot enough for two people great place with a drive thru
Always good... Chili fries taste different this time tho... They need 2 change sauce back
On the Pastrami Tour, I think all would agree, Angelo's is the biggest! Right outside is a large stone with a plaque set into it recording the original location of Pomona College. This place is a classic diner style drive through full of history and big food! Next time I go I am going for the machaca!
This is the only place I know where the food that is served looks better than what is in the picture. The picture looked good enough to order. The portion size was huge the meat was delicious and tender and it came with four large homemade corn tortillas. I couldn't finish it all. I was stuffed and I felt like a million bucks. You should try the green chili plate. Take a look at my pictures.
Food is always delicious, prices go up after/before every renovation .. stick with the food , the place looked good enough for me to try it and like it the first time.
Love this place been going there since i was akid...best hamburgers in all Pomona...2 thums up from me & my household????????
