We won’t going back to eat there again that's for sure! This place giving Japanese’s food a bad reputation. Let say if people never had Japanese’s food before they would think it was normal. We ordered seaweed salad, pot stickers, grilled salmon and miso soups. Seaweed dish and the grilled salmon were very tiny portion and taste sandy. The foods had no presentation at all.Good lucky maybe you have better experience.
Everything is great and will go again. I recommend to take the sashimi first then the rest. If you don't drink then you may not able to feel the Izakaya (居酒屋)culture, however this is still a great restaurant that worth to try.
Came here twice , Wow. 10/10 recommend. Got the omakase (was sort of hesitant because I wasn't prepared to) but it was definitely worth the experience. You get all specialty fish, and it's incredibly fresh, Highly recommend Service was good .
The food was superb. We have ordered hot sake, skewers (beef tongue was my favorite), toro sushi, and mushrooms. The staff and the owner were very friendly and fast to respond to our orders. Everything was very affordable and the uniqueness of this place is that you can try many different items on the menu! They have just opened this restaurant recently, please come by and support them!
Amazing, fresh, quality tasting menu. Owner Edison explained how they always look for the freshest ingredients (the taste says it all), and if something is not available, it’s because the best wasn’t in the market! We had a little bit of everything - nigiri, skewers, karaage, squid, o-den; everything was melt in your mouth tasty! They also have great sake too. Will 1000% be back!!!
Over priced, Zero luxe, food just ok.They tried so hard to make the store to be more like “fine dinning”. However they are using disposable one time chopsticks. Pay no attention to details. I am so disappointed.Lunch has limited menu. No O-den. No bbq. This is so over priced place with just not so good food. Ruined my anniversary.Definitely won’t come back140+ for 2 person lunch.
Good food but overpriced. Bone marrow ramen was tasty but the bone marrow itself was a bit salty for me. Nigiri was nice and fresh. Omakasi had a good variety. Toro pictured in the box is ordered separately. Ribeye and pork belly Ozaku was just okay. I wouldn’t get those again.
Please look at the first picture, in addition to ramen, there is also beef bone marrow. But please note the second picture, when you check out, you will find that beef bone marrow is not included in the price. Owner explained that the picture is only as an illustration, but I feel cheated, because I even ordered a extra one. Of course, after communicating with them, I got a refund.Foodie who has eaten beef bone marrow should know that it is easy to scoop up with a spoon, their bones still contain fascia, not melting, but a large piece of fat visible, see photo 3.Nigiri lunch, $26 for 5 sushi. An ordinary entry level, no-traditional Japanese restaurant. Will never come back again.
Located on the second level of the Stoneridge Shopping mall. Beautiful architecture design, high end Izakaya (Japanese tapas) and sushi bar. Classy restroom(cotton squabs, hairspray, rubber bands, and body lotion). The bamboo bento box is for presentation, especially for their upscale selection of sashimi, four selections for their smallest box and 9 for their larger box. Overall great selection, excellent food and service. Please note that their online ordering feature was not available (1/23/22).For my selection of sashimi: hamachi with shredded daikon- exquisite. Otoro (fattiest part of the yellow fin tuna) -outstanding cut and flavor. Sake toro (salmon belly) - superb, but small pieces. Saba (mackerel) - exceptional.I highly recommend their agadeshi tofu: tempura fried tofu and savory sauce.
Fairly new Japanese restaurant opened at the shopping center by my house, thought to give it a try, I'll give it an a-okay, food took awhile to come, sushi pretty fresh, wasn't wowed by it for $26 lunch (5 piece nigiri, 4 small pieces of fried sushi, salad with no dressing, some miso soup) however tako wasa ?, food pretty pricey, California roll was $10 and yakitori was only available for dinner time only? Servers didn't know either ?
