Incredible food with friendly service. Highly recommend for dine in or take out.
Fairly good East Mediterranean (think Turkish) food with reasonable prices and a varied menu. I found the lamb in the iskender platter to be a little dry but still tasty. My wife had the lamb shank bladder and said it was very good. The young people at the order counter are very pleasant to deal with.
The food is ok, can possibly make it more Turkish style than is now, I always picked up food and the guy at the front was very polite. Today I decided to dine in with a friend, food was decent but the waitress very rude, started cleaning table as we were finishing the food. The time from we received our main to the time where that rude waitress started cleaning was less than 15 min. Have some manners! Will never go back!
Good value Turkish food in the Pleasanton area. However, there are a number of small deficiencies that caused concern. The beer I ordered was not very cold; slightly cooler than room temperature. The Beyti was tasty but had a slight spicy kick to it which is unusual. The let down though was that instead of using pastry dough to wrap the ground meat, this place took a shortcut in using lavash bread to wrap... to me this is a lack of cooking technique. Beyti should be elegant and done with finesse; not hacked together. The lamb shank was cooked well; but again had a gravy/sauce with some unusual spices.I might come back again if in the area and have a hankering for Turkish food; but look elsewhere for a true Turkish experience.
Used to be a good halal place, but unfortunately, they have started serving beer and alcohol apparently since the management has changed (run by the owner's son now). We will be avoiding this place as there are many other halal options in the area that don't serve alcohol. For those who don't care about halal meat, this is a decent place with decent food. However, the prices have gone up quite a bit recently.
Very bad last two experiences, the guy with tattoo on his name who takes the orders messed up on my orders second time in a row and then the lady that was in charge brought us a complete different order and trying to convince us that this is what we ordered, no apologies or customer service recovery! Nothing at all. A week later we came back and this time we ordered for 5 people; one plate was missing and one was wrong, went up to him and ordered the missing one for my wife while my food is getting cold. It was ridiculous, definitely not coming back again.
I got the chicken wrap, kebab & 5 falafels it was somewhat ok. The sides are extremely stingy; overall portions is small; but the sides is way too small! E.g., the side hummus is almost 2 tea spoon for my entire chicken shishkebab & 5 falafels; (this way your forced to pay additional fee for the right portion of hummus to wash down the multi dried falafels). Especially when the falafels was one harder and drier than the other! It's as if the falafels were made between 4-5weeks prior to serving, (not fresh)!
Great find , have been to another location that had good food but this has it all , the food was great as always , had a shish chicken wrap was just perfect meat was well cooked but still tender and soft , ordered fries and they got me 5 lb of it hhh if u are more than one think about sharing ur fries it’s more than enough , sandwich came with side of salade perfectly seasoned, and was still reasonably priced, loved the decor and the fun Turkish music , restrooms were very clean ,I liked the place so much ,was leaving then remembered a dessert , so ordered me a “Kunafa”and a tea and it was just amazing one of the few places that has a real non frozen kunafa , the place was busy but there was plenty of sitting area in and outside will definitely come back keep up the good work
The young boy cashier had a bad attitude wouldn’t refill are tea as they usually do and the food didn’t taste as good as usual. We are regular customers and I believe he is new worker after coming here for years ???????
