Everything was delicious! This is what we ordered:- Agedashi Tofu- Kappa Maki- Tekka Maki- Chicken Katsu Dinner- Chicken Udon- Avocado Special RollWe especially like the maki rolls. It had just the right amount of rice that we enjoyed. Service is attentive. We were there at 6pm and the place was full. Had a wonderful experience.
This place is authentic Japanese family operated restaurant. I Ordered takeout of 1each Chicken & Beef sukiyaki dinners. My daughter & I thought the flavor was good. Will go back again
Folks, you should go to this Japanese restaurant, this is an authentic one, the best Japanese restaurant I went in the Bay Area and the price was very reasonable. There are probably more than 10 or 20 Japanese restaurant in Pleasanton, this is the best one although I have been to only 3 of them; the other two 4+ star restaurants were not even close. The food (Sashimi) and even noodle soup are well prepared and tastes excellent. I am a very picky person and don't give 5 starts easily. When I saw an Asian lady sitting next to us ordered 3 dishes for herself to enjoy, I knew the food was good. Definitely will go there again, even driving from Sunnyvale or anytime passing by Pleasanton!

Small cozy spot that we stumbled across on a few months accross. We always order the California, Philadelphia, Snow Crab, and Dragon Roll as well as the teriyaki, katsu & tempura. Service is fast & everything is fresh EVERY SINGLE TIME!
I really enjoyed Sato. We came here on a Tuesday lunch and there was only 2 other tables occupied. The clam ramen was very good and the nigiri was good as well. We’ve come here on another occasion and the tempura is great. The sushi pieces are on the smaller side but we still enjoyed them.
Authentic Japanese cuisine at reasonable price in a tradition Japanese restaurant setting. This is the best Japanese restaurant in the tri-valley area. We've been coming to Sato for over a decade. They serve traditional Japanese food such as sushi, rolls, udon, tempura, teriyaki, sukiyaki, etc. The food and the service is always good. Highly recommended.
